The best
The hardest part about this mix is that it would cost a small fortune to transfer all my tropicals to it. But if I could I would. All my incoming plugs and most of my tissue cultures are in it and thriving. I love to experiment- the babies not in this are still good, but much smaller. This allows the plants to breathe and dry out faster, which eliminates the possibility of root rot. Also helps with the gnat problem that regular soil mixes encourage.Picture shown are 3 Florida Ghost cultures loving life. For some reason after I moved a Red Anderson to this mix it uncurled a few leaves and stretched out more comfortably. I’m honestly amazed at the transformation of my plants and I’ll probably slowly move all of them to this mix eventually.

Small bag worth every penny
My exotic plants love this mixture! If you have exotic plants the is the mixture to get. The bag is smaller but I was able to do two 6 in pots with a little bit left over to start a 3rd. The mixture is never moldy or smelly although I do recommend if you are in a cold climate like me you take it out of the box quickly as I does accumulate some moisture.

Great for Alocasia Silver Dragon
This has worked well for my finicky Alocasia Silver Dragon plant.

Will definitely buy again
This would be pricy to use by itself if you have many plants. I mixed it with some fox farms ocean forest soil, orchid bark, and extra perlite, which gave me a lot more potting mix and helped bring my overall cost per gallon down. I used this to repot several plants that needed fresh soil or more room for spring. I used it with both tropicals/aroids and some snake plants, as well as with some pothos cuttings I had rooted in water, and so far all are thriving. This mixture seems to help retain moisture without staying too wet or compacting around roots. Will definitely buy again- I am sure it would work great alone, but due to how many plants I have and the cost, I’ll keep using it as an additive to other mediums. I should add that another perk is that it was bug free- I did not end up with a fungus gnat invasion after using this or the fox farms soil… Miracle Gro always gave me gnats. This mix did come with moisture in the bag, but no bugs or mold. The company says this is to be expected and to just open the bag to let it air out.

Very nice mix
This mix is chunky and airy. It's perfect for Hoya and Airoids. It would be cheaper in the long run to buy all the components of this mix and make it yourself if you have a lot of plants. If you just have a couple of plants that need this mix, this bag is perfect. I added worm castings to it and my plants are loving it.

You're better off making your own mix
I feel like I bought the Lays chips bag version of potting soil. The bag had very little content and it was mostly sand and coco shavings. Not worth the money spent. You're better off investing the money on making your own mix.

Happy plants
My aroids are loving this mix, they are thriving. It is a little pricey, so I mix it with an inexpensive orchid mix to stretch it out a bit.

Sending it back
I opened the bag, only to find the mix was soaking wet, with an off putting moldy smell. I really wanted to try it, but I’m afraid it will transfer some kind of mold or fungus to my plants.
