I ordered this set of 6 ramekins specifically for individual chicken pot pies. They are the perfect portion at 12 ounces. The puff pastry fits nicely across the top and I confirmed it over the edge. They turned out beautifully. I really like the casual look of this pottery. A big plus was they arrived unbroken . They are packaged well in their own box and upon ordering I asked for Amazon packing as well. My previous order of a different brand of regular white ramekins arrived destroyed.

These little 6 oz cups look even better in person! The subtle texture gives them a handmade look and the speckled glaze with brown rim does as well. Well worth the price for such a cute set!

A friend recently served creme brulee. What a wonderful dessert! Plus it is gluten free. She also shared her recipe. Looking for ramekins I found these baking cups that look like they were made to complement our wedding stoneware. And the gold trim will really set off the caramelized sugar that tops the creme brulee. I am looking forward to making this dessert in the very near future.

The media could not be loaded. Creme brulee made easy if you have a sous vide setup. Fill the tall but narrow ramekin with your custard, put the shallow but wide one as a cap over the top, then vacuum pack them. This is the perfect workaround for the plastic sinking down and ruining the smooth surface needed to get a lovely brulee top. The cap keeps the plastic away from the top of the custard. But wait! There's more! When you're ready to caramelize the sugar, put the little ramekin inside the larger one: this gives you a way to turn the cup around as you heat the surface, reducing the risk to your fingers.I love these ramekins. I only wish the deeper one was a better match to the shallow. I wish for more of the speckling on the outside. But they're both fantastic, and make a great team.
