So durable. Use this on my balcony and my living room (stuck totally he balcony door) so I can watch my cats! It kept falling down (due to my own stupidity) and not a scratch on it!Camera quality is good, the video pauses for a second every now and then but that is likely my WiFi as I have issues with other devices. But if I drop the quality to standard rather than high, it works fine.I only seem to have images of it in night mode, but enjoy my cat staring at it while I confused him by speaking through it.Definitely thinking of getting another!! Notifications come through to my phone about motion detection but I've turned this off otherwise I'll get 3am zoomie notifications.Haven't tried with alexa yet, completely forgot it even did that..

I received this cam today and it was very quick and easy to set up. The instruction manual is a bit basic but everything you need to know is on the app which that you have to download to work the cam. The cam was easy to link with alaxa and can be viewed on my phone or if you have a echo show on that. The motion detection sensitively can be changed from low, medium and high and forced on a area, like door if you want. Recording can be on a SS card (not surpled) or a subscription cloud service. The only down side so far is you have to plug it in to the mains the USB lead that comes with it is about 2 meters. I think this cam is very good value for money.

The camera feels solidly built and has great video quality. I found the mount quite fiddly to attach to the camera, almost to the point I thought I was doing something wrong. Bonus points for the choice of two mounting points and the magnet inside the mount. Really well thought out and super useful when attaching to the side of something rather than on top.The camera connects via the cloud, which will not be an issue for some/(most?) users, but personally I access all my current camera streams locally. However I have read from what looks like a reputable source, that local/RTSP access will be coming in a future firmware update. If this does indeed happen then I'll be updating this review to 5 stars, and will probably purchase some extra ones too to replace some of my older indoor cameras!

I purchased the security camera in my home as an addition to my current security system and I have to say I'm pleased with this product and I have a positive experience with it so far. I've been using / testing other cameras as well, like Kasa or Tapo, but this one is the better one so far. The pros that I can mention are the following:- Easy to get started: quick and easy installation (unless you want to use the screws provided) with the 3M adhesive tapes or the magnet built inside- Great integration with Alexa, as you can use the camera for triggers, see the live stream within Alexa (vs. the Kasa or Tapo products which cannot be used in Alexa). Also great features in the native app as well in terms of automation or scenes and settings.- The camera is very quick, if you want to see the live stream, it takes no time (compared to Kasa or Tapo products, where you have to wait quite a few seconds while it loads).- Clear and high resolution video image- The support team is really good, very responsive and very helpful. They work with the dev team to solve any issue you may have (I had connectivity issues, but got firmware update from the team to fix it).Some cons:- The power cable could be longer as it limits the options where you can place it- It could be a killing camera if you could rotate it from the app (currently static)- It is somewhat integrated with Google Home app, but a better integration with it would be greatUltimately it's a great little product, much better than other similar cameras, like Kasa or Tapo.

I’ve started a little collection of Switchbot items and the camera was my latest purchase. This is excellent value for money. The set up was easy, but do be mindful to ensure the QR code part is not done in a very bright room.Functionality wise it’s excellent, with a private mode you can activate when you are home so you don’t keep getting event notifications. There is a human detection setting, which helps when you have pets at home. I’ve popped an SD card in for recording which seems to be working well.There is two way audio with the camera which also works well.Night vision and field of vision is also excellent. With the ecosystem of Switchbot this relatively inexpensive camera is a great addition.Overall I’m really pleased about this and the added piece of mind for security at home.

I’m surprised by just how good this camera is. The set up is quick and easy, particularly if you have other SwitchBot products. You just plug it in and can immediately operate it from the app.It’s small and unobtrusive, the picture and sound is very clear, and the night mode is excellent. I have sleep issues and my doctor suggested filming myself as I sleep - this does the job perfectly. Highly recommended.

I own already several products branded SwitchBot, those help me to turn off and on, computer, swith etc.But use case wasa something different this time. I don't have a smartmeter at home, and my meter is not very accessible, tired to go downstair all the time to check the temperature, I bought this little camera and put exacly in front of the meter.After a couple of days of usage, I can tell that the quality is ok,is reliable and didn't cost a fortune. Added bonus flawless setup !!
