absolute junk. does nothing but crush pills. haven't found one pill that i can split without this thing mangling it. the problem is that the V that h holds the pill is hard plastic so the pill just moves when you close it.what a waste of money! I have a $2 one with a rubber V that works marvelously! the pics say it all, and this is one of the more successful splits. u have been warned!

First pill cutter that splits meds right down the middle and doesn't turn them into crumbs.New Review: I have had my pill cutter for over a year and the blade is getting a little dull and warped. Before this I bought the plastic ones which I had to replace about once a month. (The pills I have to cut are really hard). So I was looking for the replacement cutter and I noticed some negative reviews.I just want to say mine has worked fine for what I need it for and if I had stayed with the plastis ones I would have spent at least 3 times as much money in the same length of time. The only thing I agree with is it would probably be easier if the V was rubber to hold the pill in place. As it is, you just have to be careful lining it up and cutting it. Takes some practice. Overall, I’m happy with the cutter and will continue to buy the replacement blade as needed.

This is completely useless! It doesn't cut or crush pills ... and I was only trying to crush little ones!
