Great multimedia tool for all ages.
These are not just handy for kids, they are great for urban sketching. They look great in the Hahnemuhle Cappucino sketchbook's warm coffee colored paper, or Stillman and Birn Zeta (white), on Strathmore Toned Tan, Gray, or Blue, and Nova Trio (gray, black, and tan), and Canson Mi-teintes, smooth side. I'm a plein air artist and urban sketcher. I keep these pencils on hand as a gift if a budding artist comes to visit me. I gave a full set to my nephew and he loves them in his coloring books.

Fun pencils
Love the addition of these pencils to my collection. I use them in a coloring book and it helps add color variety quickly. I like the thicker size of the pencils because they're more comfortable to hold and cover more surface. I got a variety of colors in each petal without having to intentionally rotate the pencil. May not fit in most single pencil sharpeners but if you use pencils a lot, you accumulate different sharpeners. I have one with three sizes and these fit in the middle size. See pics.

Great pencils, perfect for older children. I put in my daughters easter basket and she loved them!

Fun thick color pencil
Size:Loads of fun color swirls the only downside to the size is finding a pencil sharpener that will be able to keep these pencils sharp after the first use. Will love if a sharpener could be included with purchase.Write quality:Easy to use, lasting color and write smoothly.

Fantastic Pencils!
Great quality, they write great on paper. I do suggest that you get a pencil sharpener that is meant for big pencils because they are jumbo.
