I initially started with the inktense pencils which I love! I was excited to find the same product in a pan paint set. I bought the 24 basic pan set and then found these. I LOVE the colors! I paint a lot of beach themed paintings and the colors work perfectly. It is so impressive how little paint u need, a little goes a long way. Tip, start light, let dry (they dry permanent) and then add more or layer another color. You will love this brand if you have not used before. They bring your ideas to life and the colors are much more vivid than most watercolor pallets. Good luck & have fun!!

Derwent is the best. Everything I have tried from this brand has always been exceptional and this is no exception. The color is beautiful. I love blending them. Trust Derwent. Highly Recommend.

Love this color palette for doing flowers and sea scapes - works well with their inktense pencils and travel sets. Permanent once they dry.

QUALITY first of all, you just cannot beat Derwent. Great selection of pastel watercolors with great pigments.

Have the other recent Derwent sets but those are inktense. It sure what these pastel colours are but they aren’t for me. Just don’t have the values/saturation of the other sets so these colours are dull & seemingly more chalky when dry. Very disappointed

Not content with this product. The colors are beautiful but it’s very very chalky. Save your money in my honest opinion.

When new and dry, the pans look quite a bit chalky, but they rewet very easily and produce beautiful, actually *pastel* colors (light and slightly muted). They also mix well to achieve soft browns, dusty pinks and purples, and a variety of beige shades. On a more personal note, I'm not a fan of the 'artichoke' green though and would have prefered a warmer color, perhaps like a may green. Overall a very fun palette that can be combined with mediums such as inks or colored pencils.

Los colores son de calidad y más opacos que las acuarelas. Tampoco se disuelven una vez secos. Me encanta esta marca. Los colores además pigmentan muy bien, con lo que esta caja durará un montón. El pincel es perfecto: lo llevas desmontado en la caja y cuando lo quieras usar, le quitas la tapa y lo armas.

You have to let them soak a bit but after that these are gorgeous colors, creamy, opaque but not chalky, although they kinda seem chalky, dry in the pans but they are harder than chalk when dry. So no chalky feel on you art pieces either, just plain gorgeous colors. I’m sorry I can’t include photos at the moment, it’s packed away already, I’m moving, maybe after I’m settled I can come back and add pictures with maybe some extra revised review details. This is my favorite Derwent palette (also have the Line and Wash -my second favorite-, the Shade and Tone and the Charcoal one but those need extra “get to know them”-time)

Tutti i set acquerelli derwent sono ottimi come aggiunta ai tradizionali set di acquerelli extrafini. Interessanti per la tavola colori e per le texture, come questo “pastel” oltre i set metal e grafite.
