Q: I'd like to mount this on a canoe rack so I can roll it up into place. Since it would be outdoors at all times, are the rollers weather resistant?

Although these will work with your application, our rollers are galvanized steel so there is opportunity for them to rust if left in the elements for extended periods of time. The polyurethane will repel the water from the roller however it might deter it towards the uncovered bearings on each side of the roller. If you would still like to use these for your canoe rack, a nice feature about our rollers is that they are spring loaded meaning they can easily be removed and put back in place.
