I have been ordering this product for many senior dogs over time. My latest delivery was not the same product as I had been getting. First, I noticed the container was larger than in the past. The label showed the same ingredients. When i opened it, the product was not the same. The color is darker, the nuggets are like rocks, not chewable at all. There was a weird smell. I have to soak the product to soften it and add it to my dog's food. I have cancelled my subscription delivery and will be looking for a different product. Sad as I had been happy with this product for so long.

The color was different and dogs won't eat it. It used to be more yellowish in color and is very hard.

This shipment the "morsels" seemed harder than usual although it was within the date. Seemed old.

These are very dry and difficult to split in half so that my 15 lb. Dog will eat it. She even threw up during the evening after having them the first time. She had been taking a different joint supplement by Pet MD and did not have this difficulty. Those supplements were soft and easy for her to eat.When I was to receive my first order the first time all I received was an empty envelope (slit open) and had to call Amazon about the problem and they reimbursed me. In the process, I somehow ended up ordering two canisters for replacement and received the Advanced HIP and Joint. What a fiasco!! And now I can’t return these two canisters that are not what I intended to get. I would appreciate your making this right. Otherwise, I know I can find a supplement with another company where there are no problems.Kathy Howard

This Glucosamine/Chondroitin daily supplement for dogs with joint issues seems fine. The ingredients seem like they are good quality--they smell wholesome--and the dog is willing to eat them, although she doesn't look forward to them as much as she does a Greenie. I honestly can't tell if the supplements work or not; my dog does have better mobility now, but she lost a little weight and got some other health issues under control, so that might be the cause. Still, these joint supplements couldn't hurt anything, and maybe they do help. Pet MD's version is reasonably priced compared to some of the others. If you're in the market for this kind of supplement for your dog, this one would be a good choice.

I have been using this product and buying it in Amazon for the last 2 years. I have been satisfied of this product because it has helped my mixed breed of German shepherd and chow chow who is now 7 years old.I have a concern on my last order which was 2 weeks ago because of change of color, from golden yellow to dark brown and change of smell too. The ingredients and dosages are all the same compared from original container.The expiration date is good through 2026.I only give 3 stars on this order.

Purchased originally for our foster dog, a mastiff who hadn't eaten regularly in the last few months. When he arrived his movements were stiff and when he tried to lay down, it was a barely controlled fall. Within a week of taking this supplement he was moving easier and laying down more gracefully. A week after that he started playing regularly with our rescue puppy. Now he's been here 6 weeks and you'd never know his joints were an issue. He runs (as much a 200 lb. dog ever will), plays with the puppy, and is a happy guy. We'll continue to have him take these long term for maintinance since he's he's a big guy but I've been very impressed. And there is a happy ending to this story--we decided to adopt him.
