Bought to place on my wfh desk to break up the plain surface a bit and double up as a mouse mat. Looks very stylish.

The deep green of this mat looks very old-fashioned- like a deliberate attempted throwback to the days when offices were all green leather and wood, fountain pens and pigeonholes. It looks close enough to leather (if you don’t look too closely) for the effect to be good enough for set-dressing. It will particularly suit a darker wood-coloured desk, as well as naturally blending with any other desks that already have green in their colour scheme.The surface works decently as a mat. Personally I slightly prefer fabric mats- they are less squeaky and feel a little softer under my fingers- but the mice I’ve tried on this mat have all responded with it accurately and smoothly. The edge stitching doesn’t excessively block mouse movement and there’s enough depth behind my keyboard for a big mug of tea (or two).The cork underside gives a good grip, despite it being smoother than I had expected a cork board to be. Once a keyboard is plonked on top, this mat is not going to be sliding around unless you do it deliberately. Unlike some truly double-sided mats though, I wouldn’t try flipping this over and using the cork side to work on- it may be a bit smooth but it’s still too rough for that. The green stitching on the cork side is also just a little bit unappealing.It arrives folded up, but it only takes a couple of hours to flatten out nicely and be ready to use.The product photo is a little misleading in my opinion, with the makers having deliberately chosen a fairly small keyboard to picture, to make the mat look a little bigger than it is. Make sure you’ve checked the sizes against your expectations before ordering.Assuming you’re happy with the size though, this is a very reasonably priced and presented mouse mat, and the green colour adds an unusual twist of old-fashioned character.

This desk mat arrives rolled. It does retain a curl from this even when rolling it the opposite way to straighten it. This makes me think it would be impossible to carry around with you as suggested in the ad with the strap to lock it rolled, as whenever you unroll it it’s going to be a nightmare to flatten.Colour wise the light grey is very lilac to my eye but I like it. The gold is very bright and strong.It feels a quality item, it is thick and there’s a slight “leather” texture to it; I like that the edges are stitched (this is real stitching not printed).In use it is brilliant with an optical mouse, smooth and comfortable. The edges do have books on as it is still curled but hoping it will eventually relax into a flat position.At £12.99 (May ‘21) I think this is a very good price for the size and quality, I recommend this item but just be prepared to invest some time in flattening it.

This is a beautiful antique style mat.It comes in a cardboard box rolled protected in plastic. It takes time to flatten but after that it stays in shape.The mat is made from Premium PU/faux leather.It also comes with a matching colour classic style strap. The mat can be rolled and stored safely, when not in use.Dual sided design.Easy to Clean.Quick drying.Both sides are non-slip.The Green side is more stylish as a desk mat, in my opinion. Whereas, the Cork side is moisture-resistant for purpose use. But again it can be used to match or contrast with the texture around.It's very well made.Good quality stitching.The mat can be cut to fit. But I would not do that because it would ruin the stitching design. It looks beautiful as one piece with the strap.Excellent quality.A bargain price of £13.99.It would make a lovely gift for adults who like antique style items. I would definitely recommend it.

I ordered this for my Fiancée's desk at home for when she's on the computer: - The mat came nicely rolled in a box that fitted the style really nicely! - The colours are fantastic! The cork underneath looks really cool and the colour on top (we had Green) is really stylish and old fashioned! - The cork underneath grips the desk nicely and stops the mat from sliding around. - The material on both sides is of a really high quality and feels premium and durable! - The leather effect on top is excellent, and the mouse actually glides across it really easily!My Fiancée loves it, and I love it too and am incredibly jealous! I would highly recommend this to anyone!

I received this item through the Amazon Vine programme. This is a nice mat, and it's got a real cork backing which makes it non-slip. The green colour faux leather surface looks good and is stitched around the edge which is a good effect.No nasty "Vinyl" smell either. Comes with a small matching strap if you wanted to roll it up for storage.Good surface for your mouse, mine is cordless and works fine on it.This green one retails at £13.99 and compares well with similar items on the Amazon site: it's good value for money (why the brown one is four quid more is beyond me, and I like the green one better).

I got this desk mat because my desk has some imperfections and I wanted extra protection for the computer equipment as I work from home. This desk mat is anti-slippery and made of medium soft leather. The quality is amazing and it's waterproof so when I spill my morning coffee it's super easy to clean without affecting the desk mat. It's double sided too so I can change the look of my little home office when I get bored simply by turning this desk mat and changing some decor. The optical mouse also workes perfectly on this mat. I am very happy with it and I highly recommend it!
