I can't even give this product one star, but had to give at least one.They talked quality, but that's NOT what they delivered! We bought these for our daughter and she's told us how bad they were. First time she washed them, the colors washed out!She sent pictures recently of them coming apart with threads fraying and coming apart!!If you call that quality, you don't know what quality is!!!P.S. She ended up throwing them out!!!

I got a pack of 2 discounted as a returned item. I could see someone had washed/dried one of them, and it was frayed along one edge - very minor, I snipped it off and it is fine. But, it was at least 2 inches smaller than the other unwashed towel. If you wash in too hot or even too warm water or over-dry or use too hot dryer they will shrink and perhaps fade. These are high quality fabrics, not from dollar store and must be treated with respect. I have 28 face cloths and 16 hand towels, from Superior and of the same 900 GSM. I wash in cold water with Tide/Downy and dry on low for 40 minutes. They did not shrink noticeably or fade at all and are all still in brilliant condition after many times laundering as I described.

Initial impression does not match the website description nor many of the reviews. If, as the seller suggests, these become softer and loftier after laundering, I will up my review.I'll compare these to FrontGate Turkish cotton towels.FrontGate: They cost an arm and a leg...and another arm. Extraordinarily soft and thick when new; the softness stays but the thickness melts away with launderings. The loops are so tight (good) that I need a magnifier to see they are not single strand. The colors have a beautiful sheen when new, but that sheen leaves with laundering. The stitching is very clean, looks like high craftsmanship. But these are not worth the small fortune charged, considering the loss of loft and sheen.Superior 900: Good price. Not particularly soft, only marginally thicker than average towels. Would not describe these as "luxurious", just better-than-average. The loops are obviously loops; there's an obviously less luxurious feel than with the tighter loops. The color shade is fine but it's basically flat from the start. The stitching is solid but while the FrontGates have perfect, solid seams with a single, tight straight stitch (classy look) the Superior's have a double chain stitch that makes the edges look coarse and just not particularly classy.Bottom Line: To me, towel quality is mostly about softness and loft. These are not impressive in those 2 areas; they are a decent value for a good-not-great towel set. So next time I'll be looking for reasonably-priced Turkish cotton that maintains great softness and loft.

I had done a lot of research before purchasing these towels and was expecting a high quality product for the price. What I received was towels that looked more of a deep purple rather than navy. They had a faint chemical smell that was made far worse when I washed them. Ran through the wash twice both times on warm in my front loader with vinegar to attempt to fight the odor which was mostly dissipated after the second cycle. Towels shed a LOT in the dryer which was expected based on other reviews. After removal from the dryer they were already falling apart (pictured). Upon closer inspection edge stitching was different colors on different towels (pictured) and was not an exact match to the towel itself. Extremely disappointed in the quality. Set was returned.

I really wanted to know what $20 towels were like. I was actually quite impressed by the material thickness and softness. I received the towels today (2/13/19), threw them in the wash, and already showing craftsmanship defect.If they don't remedy this $20 towel, I would strongly encourage you to not take the chance with this purchase.

We had our bathroom remodeled this past summer and I was excited about buying new towels and face cloths. I literally spent hours and hours searching for the "HOLY GRAIL" of the towel industry. All my research pointed to Egyptian cotton. It was supposed to be the softness, most durable as well as fade resistant.I placed 5 separate orders over a period of a few weeks. My total cost was around $220.00.When my towels arrived, I was anxious to try them out but, as my grandmother always said... make sure you wash towels before you use them. After the first set was laundered,I noticed several strands of material had been pulled. It a was terrible mess. My husband had to clip the pulled material strings BEFORE we even got to try them.The bath towels were sort of soft, but most importantly, they were so heavy. They weren't easy to maneuver.Continued washings just produced more pulled strings. Now, the color is fading. What used to be a beautiful blue color was now a blotched mess.We have grown to despise these towels. I'm going to ask the company for my money back.

At first they seemed great, very soft and absorbent, but now three weeks later they are falling apart. After about 6 washes you would take them out of the dryer and large amounts of threads started coming off of the sides of the about 1/2 of the towels I bought. I had towels fromPottery Barn that I paid about X2 more on and they did not start to fall apart till after 3 years. Very Poor quality product and I would not buy them again.

Just received these and washed tonight, nice and heavy and thick, do not know if you could do better. These are pricey though.

Most plush towels I have bought. I bought one set to try. Then bought two more sets.
