The base does not get hot even if you kept on 12 hours.I have a glass jellyfish and the lights are led and shine up perfectly and there are so many colors to choose from.

I posted the picture of the paper "egg" I made. So if I choose to, the lights will roll through all the colors available, or just hold steady, or blink with one light color. So flexible and it made my project look just beautiful! My only comment is that the light is a USB plug in, so would need an adapter to plug into the wall. Not a big deal, but felt you should be prepared.

This works great with my little clear globe and the light from it also makes a great night light bright enough to see but not too bright.

I purchased this for my granddaughter, because I bought one of those glass bowls with an angel inside of it. This became a good addition to the angel as a nightlight. My granddaughter absolutely loves it.

If you have small clear quartz or glass items to backlight, this thing is great!! As you can see, my Waterford crystal obelisk looks fantastic on this thing which has a few really cool light modes. I will be buying another one of these if I need one.

This little light delivers. It serves as a great base for a paperweight or other decoration you want to glow in the evening. There are several color options available at the push of a button. LED so it's not hot, too.

The media could not be loaded.  Super happy with this light! I like that the chord is quite long and that I can choose the colour and its brightness. I wish it was a little brighter, but overall, I love it !
