I like the sturdiness of the mount. It is made of metal and not plastic and painted well give it longevity out in the weather. I like the idea of being universal for mounting the different types of cameras. I also like they give you a mounting template which makes it easier to be able to install the mount. What I am concerned about after mounting my camera is since the mount is universal it leaves open holes or slots that water or insects can get in make it their home. This is why I only give it a 2 for weatherproof. What one should think of if they use this mount is use some silicon rubber to close up all the open slots or holes to keep weather and insects out. I like they give you the hardware, screws, flat washers, and nuts but it would be nice if they give you lock washers to help in preventing the hardware from coming loose over time.

Installed a reolink brand camera on the side of my house with this mount. Works well. Seems a little expensive but it does come with everything you need for the project. Heavy duty metal, should last forever. Easy to setup and enough spaces to fit a variety of cameras.

I ordered another one that was “universal” but it was too small. The Reolink Duo 3V is 5.5 inches wide and won’t fit most of the other boxes in this style. I searched far and wide across the internet until I found this. If you have a Duo 3V, your search is over! Buy this!

I wanted a sturdy, easy to install, universal camera mount. This fit the bill. I was able to install my Amcrest analog Turret so easily with this. This had the screws to mount the camera base, and screws to mount the camera wall mount itself, but I used screws that had a built-in washer to mount the wall mount. I first mounted the camera to the wall mount mounting plate, then put the wires through the hole in wall mount. Used the middle screw to loosely mount it to the side of the building. Use a level to level the mount, then screwed in the other two holes. Connected the camera, then installed the camera mounting plate into the wall mount. I used this method instead of using the template to first drill the three holes for the wall mount, plus it was easier to level it this way. I bought three of these and can't believe how easy it was to install these plus the cameras, hanging off a ladder, to do so. These provide strong support too. I just love these and strongly recommend them to anyone.

My oossxx camera can’t be mounted using the mounting slots. To solve that, I grounded to increase the lengths of some slotes.

Mounted a PTZ camera and generally seems good. Install was less a challenge of the product and more a challenge of my location and use case.I'd buy it again if I need another.

This piece is good quality. While it is made for some cameras, I was hoping that the predrilled holes/lines would line up to the Ring camera holes. Sadly they don’t.It is good quality though, and will likely work well for a dome camera as intended, for my hopeful use case I had to return.
