Fizzy paradise
Absolute pleasure to have fizzy water on demand, easy to operate and simple and attractive design and price reasonable.

CAUTION: NOT Sodastream compatible!
Philips have very quietly replaced the bottle fitting on this machine with a proprietary "Quick Twist" mechanism - with the little nodules on the side of the bottle top. This means all your existing or generic Sodastream carbonation bottles will NOT work with this machine (I've tried). Instead you need to purchase Philips-specific bottles with "Quick Twist" mechanism which, surprise surprise, is more expensive and much harder to find. Confusingly, other original Philips-branded bottles would also NOT be compatible with this, unless speficially identified as "Quick Twist".Rather disingenuous especially as the listing has photos of the old screwtop bottles and fitting, and "Compatible with Sodastream" plastered all over the description and images.

Stylish and efficient
Really like this carbonator, it looks good and works well. Took a little time to work out how many compressions it took to make the water as sparkling as I like it, but on the whole I’m extremely impressed.

A very disappointing purchase
I bought this item in September 2024. In the beginning it worked well. Perhaps for only 2 months.Since then, having bourght the soda canisters at great expense, the Philips Water Add4902Wh/10 Gozero Sparkling Water Maker, Plastic, White, 1 l has performed very poorly indeed. I have ordered manysoda canisters and even subscribed monthly to get fresh canisters at considerable expense. I have only now after so many failures and semi-flat water decided to warn other potential buyers of this more thansubstandard machine. I bought from Philips as I trusted the name and it has been a very very expensivedisaster having subscribed to soda stream to send 4 monthly canisters. These work. The philipsmachine is useless after approx 2 months.
