We love the light function, it is so helpful to aim properly. The heat level is very nice, just right (we use the higher setting, and we like the 'sting').The unit seems quite durable, no problems so far after several sets of batteries.Recommended!

I have never written a review for anything on Amazon. I am a believer that if a product is made, par would be that it does what they say it should. However, I need to become a brand ambassador for this product. Changed my life. I am that guy, that if there is one mosquito within a 20 mile radius, it will find me and bite me in the most annoying place ever, like behind your knee or a toe knuckle. I bought one of these 2 years ago and have sang its praises to anyone that would listen. But this story is why I wrote this review. I just got back from St John in the Virgin Islands. I didn’t realize they have ANGRY mosquitoes and Noseeums there. I mean evil, angry little jerks that leave huge mental breakdown level, bites that swell. After a week of miserable sleep and itching, I almost resorted to using a cheese grader on my legs. I sadly forgot to pack my little $19 zapper that I so love, my bad. I got home last night, zapped every single bite welt on my body, some twice because the bites where the equivalent of using a jelly fish for socks, I slept the entire night without an itch. Woke this morning and every bite was a quarter of the size in swelling. This thing is amazing. Next trip, I will remember this device before I even remember to pack a toothbrush. Incredible.

I didn't realized they used heat, and that it would be stingy hot. I was hoping something less agressive, but it does work.

We were heading back to Antigua for two weeks and I'm sure the mosquitos were planning a welcome back party. They loved me last year! In the past, I used an old trick I had learned a decade or two ago about using the back of a spoon immersed in boiling water to sooth bug bits. It works well but isn't practical. Before heading out on our trip I decided to see if there was a device that could work in the same way and, lo and behold, came across this gem. Very easy to use with two timer settings, 3 seconds and 6 seconds. We always used 6 seconds and you can definitely feel it. The first few seconds feel great and the last couple seconds can seem long depending on the sensitivity of the area, but it was never unbearable. The end of the device has a small ceramic disk that is heated by two AA batteries. In 80% of the cases after a bite, one application of the device was all that was needed to eliminate the itch. In some cases, we would use it 2-4 times though we couldn't figure out a pattern as to why 10-20% of the bites needed more than one application. Being perfectly honest, this device removed the only negative aspect of visiting the island. I can't recommend it enough! It will be a standard item to pack on all our trips.

This little device is a game-changer for insect bites! I was skeptical at first, but it really works—just a few seconds of heat and the itching stops almost instantly. It does hurt a little bit, but it's a heck of a lot better than having to scratch all day. It’s small, easy to use, and perfectly little enough to keep in a bag for hikes or summer trips. No more scratching or swelling. Totally worth it if mosquitoes love you as much as they love me!

This saved my butt (and legs) during a trip to Costa Rica. My mom also found that it worked for her, and she's usually the mosquito magnet. We used it so often I had to change the battery during the trip. If you dislike mosquito bites, I couldn't recommend it more!PS: you may need to treat more than once.

Amazing! I didn’t think this would work! 1 zap did more than RX ointment! Itch gone! Swelling Gone! redness almost gone with one zap! And I had at least 12 bites that were bright red! I cannot recommend enough- the answer you’ve been waiting for
