LUMIERE Coral Skin Food (100ml)

Guys - Yeah, I , too, thought this was overpriced ...... until I used it ! Three drops on wet hands applied to a wet face is the way to go. So the 100ml bottle will last a long time. There's even enough to apply to your forehead, if your so inclined. Very soothing and puts any razor burn to bed. Scent is a light rose, but not to worry - it fades fairly quickly. (Remember that this is a post shave balm, not a cologne). Just finished a great shave with GFT Rose shaving cream (in the metal tube), whipped up in my new ceramic scuttle from WCS ( cream stays warm for two or three passes), Fendrihan black and white synthetic brush (24mm knot), Merkur heavy duty long barber pole razor (new Wilkinson blade) , Finished with Toy Boy EDP frag ( dusty, musky, masculine rose)So I'm feeling very rosy ! (Hey, there's no one else around, so sometimes I like to zhush it up !) Also own the sandlewood version, which is definitely not so daring, but highly recommended, as well. And I have my eyes on their limes version (just waiting for the right price). Have a good shave, have a good life. Cheers !

Excelente producto inglés. El olor es a rosas, tal cual. Lo uso con el jabón de afeitar GFT también de rosas. Combina perfecto. Lástima que sea muy pequeña la cantidad. Lo volvería a comprar sin duda.

This is one of my favorite aftershaves. It makes the skin feel so smooth and eases any razor burn. Only a small dab will do per use, so the bottle lasts quite a while. The scent is great and matches with many, if not all, of my floral-scented shave soaps. In not needing to buy matching aftershave splashes, this product has actually saved me a lot. I could not recommend it enough.

I found Geo F. Trumper's Skin Food to be a very satisfying after shave balm. The price is a major let-down however. 3.4 oz. is pretty small, and at 30 dollars I wasn't THAT impressed with it. Essentially it felt as though a glycerin mask had dried over my face. Smooth, non-greasy, and comfortable feeling but nothing that seemed to warrant the price tag. The smell of the rosewater in the Coral formulation is a bit odd at first but I came to appreciate it and oft wondered if there was any true antiseptic value to the amount used in the formulation.If price is no object to you, then by all means try this. Excellent after shave lotion, awful price.

Since I was introduced to Coral Skin Food at Trumper's in London - in the pleasurable process of a haircut and shave with Kevin, which became a habit over time! - many years ago, I still use this product regularly: even when shaving less frequently! It's simply the best: refreshing, healing, and very mildly fragrant, even here in Wine Country where 'fragrance' is frowned upon .... The 'after-shave' properties - even after basic morning and evening face-washing - are excellent for your skin! Start with a small bottle - you'll need it for your travels - and then, after you become another acolyte, upgrade to the large size, because you'll want to have it regularly at hand! Enjoy!
