INSTAPLAY WiFi Router UPS uniterrupted Power Backup for 12V/2A WiFi Router Designed by IIT Alumni Made in India

I am using this for the last one month. It’s working fine as of now. Will update furtherWith respect to the product quality, some level of refinement is missing. The manufacturer should work towards it.The selector switch on the side is not labelled at all, which would make the user confused, on which way is bypass mode and which way is it on ups mode.The device should be connected to the modem/ router only after two hours of charging.Depending on the power consumption of modem, the backup may vary. In my case it runs just 1/2hr. May be I should not be expecting more from it.A star less for the above shortcomings.Overall a good product.

The small form factor, the price point, and the Made In India tag, that too by a fellow IIT alum were the reasons I purchased this. Good packaging, almost clear instructions, and initial performance were heart-warming.But the "proof of the pudding in the eating" - it stopped working within 7 weeks of usage!Called the helpline and have been asked to send an email to their customer service ID. Keeping my fingers crossed.

1. Works as expected. Very simple assembly and connection2. Used product for 3 months since Oct-2020, used 24/7, never switched off.3. Stopped working in Jan-2020. Shipped to customer service center by paying shipment charges. Issues was fixed and product is working fine4. Good customer support process and communication of progress in each step5. Hope it works fine for next few years!

There is no way to claim warranty as they have not shared any contact details of the company. Also it is not available on google. I have searched. I contacted Amazon service also, they don't have any info.The item stopped working after 3 weeks. Now it just turns on but not providing power to the router.Please choose a better brand before spending your money. I have learned the lesson.I have this dead piece with me, don't know what to do. Waste of money.

Good buy at this price range. Though I’m not satisfied with the build quality. There’s some sound coming from ups when we move it a bit, like some part is not glued to the body properly

The product when received had a black tape pasted around but was working very well and providing good back up (8 Hrs on Airtel WIFI Router), and hence no alarm was raised. The product however from today has stopped giving back up even for 5 mins (Within this time Generator Back up kicks in) and hence the product is a piece of junk for me. Amazon was very clear that the product is non-returnable, however, looking at "Made in India and IIT Alumni" I went for it. Please dont buy this product as consistency in product quality is not there.

Easy to setup, works seemlessly

The product looks helpful and was delivered today. We will give a complete review incase of issue.Note:- Your router should have the input voltage of 12v dc inorder to use this ups backup.
