Is this a good game for 2 players?

It is good for two players.  Some of the strategy is gone, as you always know who is going to be attacking you, and who you should be taking cards from.  But it's still fun, nonetheless.

Is there a how to play tutorial, or a rule sheet available?

All of the written rules are contained inside the box. The game is played basically as a framework - with basic rules on the "rules" card and the cards themselves giving you the rest of the rules of what to do (take a card from someone else, take a card from the discard pile, draw 2 cards etc.).

I designed it this way to make it more of a "get your hands messy and jump into playing it" style game.

Can you combine multiple decks to increase number of players?

Hi Chris,

I get this question from time to time and here's what I typically say...

THE SHORT ANSWER: Yes, you should be able to combine two decks
without too much issue.

THE LONGER ANSWER: Mostly yes, but if you want gameplay to remain
similarly paced to a 4 player game the number of additional cards
should be limited. I'd have to sit down and do a bit of math to
figure out exactly what needs to be put where to keep the balance
the absolute same, but we'll focus on the nuts in particular since
they're of biggest consequence.

My recommendation:
For 5 players - 11 nuts of each type

For 6 - 13 nuts of each type

For 7 - 16 nuts of each type

For 8 - all 18 nuts

So I'll be the first to admit I've yet to sit down and figure out how to completely balance the game when combining decks with all the attack/defense/wild/etc. cards. So gameplay pace will vary a bit depending on how many people you're playing with when you only limit the number of nuts in the deck.

This game is not the same as Squarrels. I designed this game before I actually even knew Squarrels existed.

Both include squirrels and nuts thematically so your question totally makes sense, but they are not the same or compatible with each other.
