Easy to use

I used these lancets on my Diabetic dog, who needs his Blood Glucose tested twice a day. These are so easy to use vs a pen type lancet which you have to load each time, and set the depth. These you just twist the end "plug" and it's ready to use. Push the end and it does a light snap and works well almost every time. I have had alot of duds lately for some reason. Maybe the QC (quality control) team should pay more attention to detail but for the most part a few duds is ok. Would recommend.

One of the best lancet options available. Comaprison to Fastclix

I originally used Bayer Microlet lancing devices but found them to be painful at times on fingertips left tender from frequent testing. I switched to the Accu-Chek Fastclix which is a phenomenal lancing device. I usually feel no pain at all when I use it. I thought Fastclix was the absolute best lancing device available before trying these Medline lancets. These lancets feel virtually identical to the Fastclix, which means I barely feel them at all. It's too close to call a favorite in a head to head matchup between the two because they're both much better than all other options and each have their respective pros and cons. I actually use both. I prefer Fastclix when traveling because four Fastclix barrels containing 24 lancets take up about the same amount of space in a kit as two individual single-use Medline lancets. However, I prefer Medline for home use because I can quickly grab a fresh lancet with absolute certainty that it's unused and without the requirement for a separate lancing device. Here is my list of pros and cons for each:Fastclix:Pros:- Virtually pain-free- Fast and convenient multi-lancet barrel design with quick lancet advance system- Allows me to easily carry one lancing device pre-loaded with six lancets- Extra lancet barrels are small and barely take up any space inside a kit- No individual lancet disposal required. Entire barrel is disposed after all lancets are usedCons:- Requires separate lancing device- No visual or mechanical safeguards to determine if a lancet was previously used. Lancets are numbered but previously used lancets can be re-used until barrel is advanced to next lancet.- Expensive compared to other lancet optionsMedline:Pros:- Virtually pain-free- Fully self-contained- Fresh lancet guaranteed for each use. Visual and mechanical safeguards prevent accidental re-use.- Easy to carry a few in a kitCons:- Takes up space in a kit quickly if carrying more than a few- Requires disposal after each use- Expensive compared to other lancet optionsYou can't go wrong with these lancets and they feel much better than any other lancing device out there not named Fastclix. Sure, like the Fastclix, they're marginally more expensive than other lancets such as Bayer, but they are worth it.

Ouch!

I found these fairly easy to use but painful. If you have tough skin or calluses these might be good but not great for me. Looking for some place to donate them.

Score!!

This is the best pin pusher I’ve used to date. Has a real nice thin point. If you can believe it, it’s easier then the ones you have to replace pines in. Really super easy to use. Always have good blood results, haven’t come up dry yet. A little pricey butttt well worth it
