The guides on my IKEA nightstand broke and I was having a difficult time finding a replacement but then I found these. They were easy to install although I did have to shorten them with a saw. But they work like a champ. Just make sure the screws and tightly and totally in all the way so the drawers will glide easily. Great, easy solution.

The product was simple to use although I modified the install a little.

Bought these guide rails to replace the broken originals in a 1980's Danish teak dresser. The critical 17mm width is perfect. The original has half round ends, is a little longer, and a couple mm thinner. I did a little sanding on the drawer to accommodate the additional thickness on the new rails.On mine, the rounded ends match the groove in the drawer and also functions as a stop. With the square ends on these, be careful of the horizontal positioning of the end so your drawer will stop at the right place when closed.

One of the guide rails of my 30+ year old IKEA dresser finally gave in to the weight of the drawer. Although they are pricey for what they are, I was so happy to find these! The replacement rail was very easy to install -- I did it in a matter of minutes -- and my dresser is fully functional again. Thank you for making this very important part available!

These are way too small and fragile. They don't stand the weight of a drawer full of clothes without breaking. They gave up after just a few weeks of use.

I was thisclose to putting a 20-year-old IKEA (white particle board) chest of drawers on the curb because three of the four drawers were non-functional due to disintegrated rails. I knew IKEA didn't offer the replacement parts I needed. But my daughter didn't want to give it up (it had been in her bedroom since she was a baby and the bureau still looked good, except for the hanging open drawers that is :)So on a whim I decided to check Amazon. Thank goodness! These rails fit the drawer grooves perfectly! It was also very convenient to have the screws included - after I found these on Amazon I did a price comparison with other sellers and this was the only place I found that sold the rails as a set with screws, which was ultimately cheaper.The new rails are about an inch shorter than my original ones, but the only problem that caused was my own installation error - which I will mention here in case anyone else is like me and doesn't think the placement through properly. I centered the replacement rails over where the original ones had been - but I should have placed them so the end near the front of the bureau was in the exact same place as the original rail's end had been. As a result of my error, when all the drawers are pushed in as far as they can go, the drawers I fixed now sit back about a 1/2 inch farther in (sunken in from the front of the bureau) than the one drawer I didn't have to fix (solution: don't push the drawers all the way in!)
