Bought this a cost-effective way to reduce heat transmission in the house. Right off the bar, this is not adhesive window tint, so its not semi-permament. This is a vinyl sheet of tint, so if it needs to come off, it can be removed easily. I found it easy to install, just measured the dimensions i needed, added 1/16th of an inch, and xut with a straightedge and razor. Liberally applied soapy water to a clean window, peeled off the back, and squeegeed (if thats even a word) it onto the window. Trimmed the edges to fit, dried the edges off, and that was it. I like it, no so far. If you need a cheap(er) way to help reduce heat transmission, this is it.

So much better than the window film I used in the past with the actual sticky backing. Easy enough for 1 person to install. Clings well & looks nice & I saved money vs buying blinds. Plus now no blinds to dust. I did 3 great big windows & 2 small.I posted pics how I laid & cut mine.

I purchased this to put on my sliding glass door. It faces East and gets blasted with the sun for most of the day. This helps to not only allow some privacy when allowing natural light in, but it helps block out unwanted heat. It was a little difficult getting it to fit just right as this was my first time using this on such a large surface, not to mention that I did it with no help. Overall, it looks good and works for my needs.

If you read and follow the directions, which include cleaning the glass well before applying, and then spraying soapy water on both what you’re applying and on the glass, you should have no issues with application. I used a pampered chef plastic scraping tool to smooth it out and remove air bubbles, and then an x-acto knife with the plastic scraping tool against it to cut out the material, similar to how their picture shows. Worked well and it looks cut to size. It is for daytime privacy, during the day, when the light is stronger outside, it gives off a slight mirror reflection and you can’t see through. At nighttime when the light is stronger inside the house, you can see through it.The only negative I have, is that it skews how bright the outside is. I kept thinking it was overcast outside, when it was bright and sunny. Light still comes through, but it’s a little more muted. I just have to get used to it.

First summer in Arizona and the heat is no joke!! My room gets really hot during the day, so we decided to try this.. It works AMAZING! Easy to install, and could feel the difference in the room almost immediately. We just got another roll to do more windows with!!

Prep your windows properly and this stuff goes on easy peasy, the tiny water bubbles that don’t get squeegeed out right away do go away, it provides excellent privacy during the day, none at night obviously you would have to be pretty stupid to think that it would. I would purchase this stuff again absolutely.

I disliked that you can see through the tint in daylight and it is clear in night time like there is no tint on it.Was easy to adhere. Would be good for keeping the hot sunlight out.

Très satisfaite. J'ai acheté l'argent/noir. Idéal pour chambre, effet un peu sombre. Réduit considérablement la chaleur. Effet miroir super élégant. Doit être 2 pour l'installation, mais Très facile à installer.

This film has tiny-tiny waves, that does not make a clear view through the installed film.
