Country Value Beef Complete Dry Dog Food 15 kg

Drawn to trying "Country Beef" by it`s very competitive price! Been feeding it to our guard dog, a four year old working GSD - (German shepherd). Loves it, always clears the bowl. Only 4 stars and not 5 for one reason.... unlike other complete dry brands she has had, we found this particular product makes her "output" slightly `loose` or `soft` in comparison to other feeds. Hopefully, this will not result in any glands problems, (that we are told can apparently arise, if "output" is not firm enough?) Time will tell, but after 2 months on this product, she certainly seems to thrive on it ... as healthy alert and playful as ever!

I have 2 dogs, the older of which has never liked dry food but as this was a reasonable price, i thought i would give it a go! All went well for the 1st week and i thought we'd cracked it, but he's reverted back to looking at me doelfully ever time i give it to him. Even tried with gravy but still turned his nose up! However on the flip side my other scavenger loves it and clears the dish every time, so overall i think this is a good product which is value for money, just not for my rather fussy mutt! P.S fussy will eat small amount if given with some tinned meat.

Having used a much more expensive feed for the past 3 years, almost £50 for 15kg, I read reviews about this and thought I would give it a try. I carefully scrutinised the ingredients and supplements comparing them to my usual brand and they were identical...but as they say "the proof of the pudding" etc. I gradually introduced it to my greedy 3 year old Golden Retriever bitch over a few days and have never looked back. She has a very active life in the Highlands and has stayed in fantastic condition. I was a bit worried that she may put on weight as she is spayed and I was using the light brand of feed but she looks better than ever. I'm now on the 4th sack and will never go back to the obviously grossly over priced alternative...give it a try.

I have very fussy dogs and when I change food it useally upsets there stomach , But I tried this and all 4 of my dogs loved it .There was no upsets it was a clean way of feeding and dogs not hungry after . Stools were normal and less of them so it shows they get more goodness than some where its full of other things.Pleasent smell for both the chicken and the beef. My dogs dont useally eat the chicken biscuits but they loved these ones , So now when I get there food I get one of each. It lasts well and you feed less than some other brands. Overal a good quality food at a reasonable price. I recomend this to all dog owners little because the biscuit is small and round and large because they just enjoy it.

Bought a large 15kg bag a bit hastily and although our 2 terriers will eat it if there's nothing else on offer they prefer it mixed in with other food, usually Royal Canin, Wagg and meat.We are gradually working our way through the massive (and it has to be noted, very cheap) large sack and I'm sure that they will eat it eventually but I realize now that this food would better suit larger working dogs (as it states on the sack) rather than fussy and over-indulged terriers.A good product if bought for the right dog.

My dog is very fussy when it comes to food, I have tried near enough all the brands available on the market and he seems to like pedigree the best however its not too good for my pocket. Having read the reviews about this product I decided to give it a try and surprisingly my dog seems to like it and cleans the bowl nicely. The product arrived quickly and for the price it is a great choice. I willsurely buy this again and will recommend to friends and family as they have few dogs aswell.

For a pensioner with more dogs than sense, this is a wonderful service, the food is excellent and keeps my pack fit and raring to go at their sport, Flyball! Delivery once a month, carried into my house free of charge, at a price that can't be beaten locally, what more can I/my back ask for? Five stars for the product and the delivery service :-)I am sad to say that I have now cancelled due to the unprecedented rise in price after ther first deliver. :-(

The first bag of this my dogs gobbled down especially the fussy one but the second bag they didn't seem to be as enthused about it. I've put them back onto Wagg and they are happier with that. I guess the first bag was a welcome change for them that didn't last long. It is an alternative that I might buy now and again but not on a regular basis.
