I live in a pretty rural neighborhood - no street lights anywhere so when it gets dark outside, it gets dark! I had some other solar lights, but they kept getting run over, looked terrible and were just plain cheap. I read the reviews on these and decided to try them. I liked the idea of a flat light instead of the kind that stood up on a stick. I put the stakes in them, easy to do, then took them off off because I wanted to see where to place the lights before putting them in the ground. The ground here in southern Nevada is tough as nails, so I didn't want to try digging holes in 115 degree weather. I love these lights! They are so bright! (Well, okay, one isn't as bright, but out of 12 lights, I'm not complaining!) I just bought another set so I can finish the driveway and then add some to pots and other objects out in the landscape. I would recommend these lights!

These are definitely cute -- they can be pushed into the lawn until they're almost flush, probably low enough that I might be able to mow the lawn without pulling them up (not that I'm gonna try!) -- but when they're on, they put out enough light to navigate our front walk. They look very smart.I have a complaint: First, a few need occasional 'persuasion' to operate by either flipping the on/off switch, and/or by tapping on them. It's odd that I can pull them up at night, still glowing, but when I push them back into the hole they came from, they stop working until I tap on them.Sadly, a few seem to need occasional persuading, and one of the lights doesn't want to work for more than a few minutes.An observation is that once dusk comes and they light up, they're go dark after only a few hours. I realize that's a limitation of the battery or batteries inside, but it's worth mentioning in a review.Overall I do recommend them, but I'll have to look into the warranty for a couple of replacement lights.

These are nice and bright but two of them didn’t work. Reached out to the company about it and heard back right away. They wanted pictures of the two that didn’t work, provided it, never heard from them again. His name was Ethan. If I heard back from them, would’ve given a better review. Kind of expensive for two to be not workingUpdate - had to change to a higher rating. Company came through and sent me two lights. Came quickly. Thank you

I am happy with this product. All lights came working and the same brightness. They are a perfect brightness for a nice walkway/driveway accent. The ground stakes are constructed well but don't perfectly adhere to the light itself. It's fine for inserting into the ground and for them staying in the ground but removal they are likely to separate. Not a huge deal just not one piece that will stay together in all conditions. All lights came on within 30 seconds of each other when i've checked the light sensor outside which is nice. A good solid set of lights that hopefully will stand the test of time.

These lights are so amazing! I started by buying one box and now I am up to four boxes. I am using these all around my house in our landscaping. I love gardening and these are the perfect accent to go in my garden.Right out of the box they had enough battery life to last the entire night without charging in the sun. When I wake up at 6 AM to go to work the lights are still going strong.I have opened three of my four boxes and not a single light has been broken. These are my favorite find of the entire summer. Purchase these and you will not be disappointed!

Removed some bushes, redid the mulch and rocks and installed these lights. They came the next day after ordering them and were super easy to put together and install. Make sure you click the on switch on the back before putting them down in the ground. Wanted something flat so neither us or our neighbor had to deal with making sure we didn’t knock a taller pathway light over getting out of our vehicles.

These solar lights are a snap to install. A two-part plastic plug fits together and inserts underneath the solar head. Push to the “on” position and push into soft ground. I was surprised how strong the plastic plug was - did not break or come apart. I waited to insert them when the ground was soft after a few days of rain. These are not sharp so they will not cut through tree roots or other hard plant matter. Mine worked well and stopped glowing at night when we hit a week of clouds and rain. The first sunny day, they recharged and began working again.

Gave these as a Christmas gift so didn't get opened until now when we could install them. Instead of twelve, there were only 11 of them in the package. Of the 11, one is completely nonfunctioning. Another of the 11 flickers and goes out shortly after sunset. So really, only 9 of the 12 work.The base that secures them in the ground is flimsy plastic and broke two of them putting them in the ground.Very disappointed in this purchase and bummed that it is too late to return them.
