Used these for a project for 2nd graders. They had no problem inserting the axels into the wheels. We used paper straws, popsicle sticks, and a glue gun and they all made and raced their cars down a ramp. Everything was good quality.

Perfect for making cars. The metal axles fit very snuggly into the wheels. They can be removed and reinserted at least 10 times without it being loose. Though many of my students tried, the axles did not bend easily( only one bent with a very zealous student). Great deal for the money. Only downside it’s the axle length is preset. And it is not easy to cut shorter.

Making toy battery cars as a class project. These wheels and axles do a good job for what we need them for. Really easy to use and none have broken. Happy with the purchase.
