For my entire life, I've dealt with those cheap potato mashers that would inevitably bend or just plain wouldn't work well. It was always such a hassle! So, I finally decided to upgrade nearly all of my kitchen utensils to KitchenAid, and honestly, I couldn't be happier with the change.This KitchenAid Classic Masher is just another example of how this brand consistently pulls through with quality. It's sturdy, gets the mashing job done perfectly, and actually feels like it's built to last. If you're tired of flimsy kitchen tools, this masher (and honestly, most KitchenAid utensils) is easily worth the price. It's a small upgrade that makes a big difference in the kitchen!

Every cook needs a masher. This utensil is not just for potatoes. We use ours to mash bananas when baking bread, for strawberries (think shortcake) and berries for canning. It is a well made piece with a comfortable grip on top that makes it easy to use. It’s also an implement that kids can use in the kitchen. It has no sharp edges, so take out the play dough and let the kids play while you cook. 5 stars !!

I had a potato masher that came with a cheap set of utensils I had purchased when I first moved into my own place. It was one that was plastic and had that grid design, rather than a wavy line like this one. It felt a bit frivolous to buy another potato masher when I had one that worked, but I HATED cleaning that thing. It was so hard to clean because of the design, I always had to whip out the straw cleaner to get in the little holes. I am so happy I invested in this one. Gets the job done, and so easy to clean. It's sturdy, has a nice grip, and very comfortable in the hand.

Mmmm... Mashed potatoes, pumpkin soup, egg salad, and the list goes on. My wife and I have immediately put this tool to use and are loving it. Quality build. Compact. Easy to clean. No complaints.

This masher looks like it would work really well—it's made of thick metal and feels very sturdy. I bet it’s great for big batches of things like mashed potatoes.Unfortunately, I had to return it because it was just too large for what I needed. I was hoping to use it to mash one or two avocados in a smaller bowl, but it was too bulky to fit comfortably. It really only worked in one of my largest bowls.Nothing against the product itself—it seems high quality, just not the right fit for my everyday use.

I’m glad I got this potato masher. Normally I would just put stuff in the food processor, which is a pain to clean. This masher is really sturdy and good quality. I saw a couple cheaper ones, but this one is worth the extra couple bucks. I’m looking forward to making my life faster & easier with this. So far I’ve just made mashed potatoes. I could mash up some chick peas, or green peas, yams, bananas, avocado, or tomatoes. Those will all be interesting toppings for toast. I could mash up some cooked lentils and make a lentil loaf. I could mash up berries and mix them with maple syrup, for a pancake topping. So much easier than cleaning the food processor :)

Really good smasher has made making potato’s pretty efficient. Look forward to more uses!

This is a necessary tool for perfect mashed potatoes or whatever your food prep needs are. Great design, well made, easy to use, and really do the job.
