Eva NYC Therapy Session Hair Mask, 16.9 fl oz

This one definitely lived up to the hype in reviews and appearing on Best-of-Amazon lists like Buzzfeed. It’s a unique but very pretty smell. It leaves a light scent in my porous hair. The guys even use and their clean smelling guy shampoos leave their scent and this just sweetens that a little. So at this size and value, this is definitely worth trying for the whole family or multi-hair types.Thin/fine-medium/med straight hair - this didn’t weigh down or over condition. It seems to provide some protein, which is nice, but not so much that it’s not a great daily or everytime you wash.Fine/straight (balayage), fine/wavy - fine/LOTS of hair/semi-coarse curls - This was universally excellent. Granted, for my curls I may need something heavier in protein for an occasional. But overall this is a great product that I’ll def buy again and recommend.This is ALMOST 5-star when comparing price vs performance. It’s a 4.5 so I gave it a 4 and here’s why:-Advertised as an all-in-one, but not enough protein for coarse, curly or mixed or black hair. For someone rocking natural curls that aren’t as fragile, it’s close! If you’re straightening you’ll def need more protein.-As a hair mask - Again for most Caucasian hair, this would be fine. Once you get to curls coarse, porous and/or mixed/black hair, this isn’t sufficient as a mask.I HIGHLY recommend, especially at this price, for ANY hair as a daily/everytime you wash for any hair type. Certain hair types will need something with more protein as an occasional boost or pre-services.PS - I don’t include fragrance in rating as that’s relative to preference. I love smell-good anything (& do personally like this) but prefer performance over favorite scent & know not everyone will like what I do.

Bought this as I was trying to find a really good hair mask for my 60+, color treated (blonde) hair that was especially prone to frizziness, dry ends and flyaways plus the usual damage caused by years of chemical lightening. I've tried them all, including very expensive ones, but they were okay, or crummy, pretty good or just so-so. I washed my hair, towel dried and applied a good sized glob, combed it through and left it on for an hour under a shower cap, and went about my business around the house. After rinsing I applied only a touch of mousse, none of my other treatments/products (of which there are many), and let it air dry. I even took the dog for a walk while it was damp and let it fly around. Incidentally, it's humid where I live. The difference in the quality and appearance of my hair is pretty amazing. It has now been 4 days since I did this, and my hair is still luxuriously softer, not frizzy, feels thicker and I actually haven't had to pull it back in a pony tail and stick bobby pins in it like I usually do or plaster product or hair spray to keep it in place. This Eva's hair mask is fantastic, the price is so cheap for such a great product, and I think I might have found my holy grail hair mask. Hooray! Try it hopefully your experience will be as great as mine! My hair is so soft, and manageable, and feels great!

I have been through multiple deep conditioning masks I've found here on Amazon, and this one wins hands down! My ends are SO DRY and nothing seems to soften them up and I really didn't want to cut them off. Tried this earlier today and holy cow, my hair has never been softer! I left it on for about 5 min and made sure to wring out as much water that I could after I shampooed. This photo was right after I blow dried it. The ONLY negative is I don't LOVE the scent.... To me it smells like a combination of vanilla and a box of crayons. Not into it and it does linger all day, at least on me it did. Having said that, the pros outweigh the cons, so crayons it is.

I just want to start by saying that I have tried A LOT of deep conditioners. Many of them a lot more expensive than this one but this one absolutely holds it's own. When I used it I noticed that it applies very nicely and rinses out easily and doesn't leave a thick residue on my hair which really helps my hair dry faster. But honestly the best this is the smoothing! I have a lot of curly, unruly hair and after using this my hair was SO smooth. I was running late so I didn't even apply any product or anything else to my hair I just popped my hair in a rope braid and around mid day when I took it out it was frizz free but it held the waves from the braid beautifully! Usually my natural curl pattern returns after I take the braid out, but like I said, they're a little unruly so having the nice soft waves was awesome!I will say that I noticed this product does have silicones which is probably why it's so smoothing but I'm going to just go ahead and say that I think it's worth it. I didn't have to use any heat styling or tons of product and my hair looks really good.This was a great buy for the price. I'll probably be buying it again!

This is by far THE BEST hair product I have ever bought. I've had problems with dry hair from over shampooing and well/hard water and this hair mask makes it like I have never had any hair problems ever. It's makes my hair extremely soft and bouncy and I don't want to style it or anything after. The smell is very nice it's very light and a little powdery but not like baby powder or anything. The price for the amount you get is crazy too. I have very thick, curly hair and I barely used a Tbsp. Of the product. A little goes a long way. (I also left mine in for about 20 min. The package says 3 or 5 minutes but it's so good I leave it in just a little bit longer :) I want to share this product with anyone and everyone I can think of.

I love this mask. So much so that I pretty much use it as a daily conditioner. (Maybe 4 times a week). I have fairly thin dry hair. It makes it silky soft and healthy ‘looking’. (As much as it can.When I style and blow dry my hair and combine it with: L’Oreal Blow It Dry Quick Dry Primer Spray, my hair looks and feels incredibly healthy.When I let it air dry on its own it is moisturized and so soft. I am now on my 3rd purchase of this product.

My favorite hair mask of all time. I originally discovered this through the Ipsy bag years back, and when I looked it up, I couldn't believe the size of the tub/amount of product for the price tag. So good, and actually does wonders for my hair. I only use once or twice a week because the product is so rich and nourishing (I have fine hair). Highly recommend.

I love this hair mask! After leaving it in my hair for 10 minutes and then rinsing it out, my hair feels so nice and soft as well as silky. I also love the scent as it’s not an overpowering one, just a pleasant lighter scent. A little goes a long way too. I find that I like to use it every second or third wash as a mask to quench my drier hairs’ thirst!

Excellent product. Great value. First stumbled upon this brand at Winners, and could never find it in stock again. Enter Amazon.ca; I have very thick hair with a mind of it's own, so I use this mask 2-3 times weekly. Never weighs my hair down, keeps it manageable and soft and smells great. Even my hair dresser asked what I was using. Can't go wrong with this product.

I'm fairly happy with this purchase. The container comes with a lot of product and it smells really good. It makes my hair pretty soft.I've only used for a few days now so I'll have to give it some time.

This hair mask feels light, doesn't leave a coating, and smells alright. Kept my hair feeling healthy during a week in the pool and sun.

This is probably my top 3 deep conditioner especially with me having 4c hair, this really melts my tangles and knot int non-existence! If you haven't tried this...you are definitely missing something pretty awesome!!

Smells amazing, but it doesn't condition as deeply as some of the other hair masks out there. I just use it as my everyday conditioner now.

A little goes a long way with this stuff. The entire tub lasts me months! Makes my hair softer and smoother and more manageable than any other conditioner I've tried. High quality for a reasonable price. Love this stuff!
