We have been using this for over 4yrs now. We mix it in with the food we make for him as directed which is also from the same company. He has the shiniest most beautiful coat and people always comment how shiny and pretty his fur is and how soft he is. We won’t ever be without it for our baby boy.

I have a Puggle that has epilepsy. Instead of Phenobarbital (which is bad for your dog) we treat with Omegas and Vitamin Bs. Both are great brain food. He has not had a seizure in over a year. These Omegas are the proper dosage for him. The bottle is free of mess. We used to use a pump brand and it always was messy. This we just put into a measuring spoon, nothing gets on the bottle, and he eats it on his food no problem. As a side benefit it leaves his coat shiny and soft. Great all around product!

Started doing the homemade chicken and rice thing for my Gracie. Did the research and found dogs absolutely need fish oil in their diet. So, I got this and the powdered JustFoodForDogs vitamin pack to mix in. I followed their recipe exactly. She loves it and it makes me feel better.

I am administering this in the hopes it will help prevent breakdown in my athletic dogs. My dogs are competition dogs. They are not purebred by paperwork, but compete in AKC events and train in more. The 7 yr old Kelpie runs with me while I horseback ride, competes in Fastcat, obedience, rally, barnhunt, and trains in agility, lure course and herding. My 4 yr cattle dog competes in rally and trains in obedience. My border collie mix trains in agility, rally, obedience, and lure coursing. As soon as I find time we will start herding. They don’t have perfect confirmation. This supplement is the correctly researched dose and is one way I am trying to keep them sound. Most omega 3 supplements do not meet the minimum researched dose, making them a waste of money and effort. I use a syringe to measure the correct dose. To use a teaspoon would be too messy for 3 dogs. No measuring tool comes with or the conversion from tsp to milliners, = 4 stars. They all eat it easily. They aren’t receiving the full dose to begin with only because too much oil can cause. gastrointestinal distress in the form of diarrhea. My dogs are doing well on it, with my cautious start. It will take time to know if it helps prevent wear and tear on my dogs. It is a reasonable price to give the correct dose of omega 3s, and good Insurance for the future. I also give them a glucosamine product.

I started using this oil in my dog’s food when he was being treated for a nasty skin infection. He had mange as a pup and his hair has always been extremely wiry and skin, extremely dry, scratching so much he’d get bald spots everywhere. He’s almost two years old. I’ve been using this oil for about 3 months and this is the healthiest his coat has ever been. I tried another oil that just made him throw up, but this one has given him no problems. He loves the taste of it and thinks it’s a treat in his food. I noticed a change in his skin and fur faster than I thought I would. It is definitely a good investment and it honestly lasts a really long time too. Will be ordering again. 100% recommend. :)

I like that this one has no fishy smell. My dogs don’t like any fish and won’t eat anything with fishy smell. With this one, they have no problem with it.I deducted 1-star because It’s hard to dispense oil without making a mess. I solved my problem by transferring the content into a non-dripping oil dispenser bottle.

I recently started making the JustFoodForDogs diy recipes for my pups after our vet recommended a fresher diet for our little boy who needed surgery for a joint issue. I was already looking into omega 3's to help him and bought this one since the diy recipes called for it. So far we're very happy with it! After doing my research I really trust this brand. It doesn't have a super pungent, off putting smell like some brands. And you get a lot for the money in my opinion. The dogs love their food and we're already seeing changes in their health for the better!

Recently my dog's vet asked if she was on an Omega joint supplement since she is 12 years old. It's been about six months now and she is thriving. Her eyes are bright and clear, her weight is finally where it should be and she likes the food so much that she is like a guard dog when its being prepared and she will come and get me when she is ready for the next meal.
