Aquascape Toucan Spitter Fountain for Ponds and Water Gardens | 78309

This product was so worth every penny that it costs. It is really cool. Everyone that has come to my patio absolutely loves this feature to my container water garden. It works well with the smaller container pond but I could see it used in a large pond as well. There is great sound to this as well, both the sound of the water and the sound of this tucan's bill when he opens his mouth. Just an all around great product. So happy that I purchased it.

The media could not be loaded.  I decided to buy but did have some concerns with the reviews on this product. Some said it was prone to leaking. That’s the last thing I wanted to happen since I’m on a retirement budget. The toucan is so cute and so far no leaks! And it works as I wanted. I didn’t sit it totally flat though. I have the back just a tad off of the tubing. The tubing is so soft that the toucan squishes it a bit and I found the beak opens and closes better with a tiny tilt. If I had one negative thing to say it would be the paint choices for the feathers and the stump he is perched on. . The stump clashed with my pond pavers so I painted it a darker wood tone. And if I was artistic I would have added a couple more colors to his feathers like I’ve seen on toucans in magazines. I’m 72, and built my little pond myself when I was in my 30’s. It’s under a tree so that’s always been an issue but I wanted a pond just that badly. Not professional looking but I love my pond. I’ll tweak it some more over time if my energy, budget and arthritis permits!

It just wasn't what we were expecting, looked like maybe won't last where we wanted to put it but for some places would be fine.

The media could not be loaded.  So the first one I bought came brokenand had to get replaced. Craftsmanship and quality control is disappointing considering the cost. The replacement was not broken, however, it had issues I had to fix for it to operate. First, the exit tube in his mouth that fills his beak doesn't aim down into the bottom beak, instead it just shoots water straight out his mouth from every angle. I had to use tacky puddy to weight down the tip so it would aim downward instead of straight out. Annoying, but simple enough. They recommended the aquascape 180 gph pump, which I bought. That is way too strong of a pump unless you also purchase a half inch ball valve to put on the black hose between the pump and the spitter to slow the water flow. The valve on the pump doesn't slow the water flow enough, it quite frankly.. at all. Over all it cost me about an extra 20 dollars to make this spitter perform like it's meant to.... which had me hating it while trying to fix it and ready to return it. When I finally got it dialed in and set up on the pond, overall I do love it. Just wish it hadn't been such a hassle. I don't recommend if you are expecting to set it up right out the box and be happy and satisfied immediately. You will have to work for it.

It was nice looking but the water didn't spray correct or something inside the mouth because it dint work. Had to return.

The media could not be loaded.  I was worried it would not work with my solar pump but it's doing great. The hose was a bit kinked when it showed up as other customers have mentioned but it didn't seem to matter. It took a few minutes initially to pick up the water and now it's running great. The birds in the yard love it!

Very disappointing. I had for five weeks before it quit working altogether. Wasn’t cheap….

I was really excited to get this for my pond and when it came in i loved it but when I hooked it up the hose is so soft and kinked in so many areas that it wouldn't allow water to flow through. I would have tried to somehow fix the hose but for the price of it I wasn't going to put more money or effort into it :(
