Works on Xbox 360 slim
Works great. Plugged in an old Xbox and it started right up with this power cord. I was playing for hours without the heat level burning a hole in the carpet. The noise level was average, the design is standard and the power cord is durable making this a great power source choice.

Don't waste your money!
Updated: This lasted less than a month. It now makes a LOUD grinding sound when we turn on the xbox. What a waste!Our Xbox 360 slim's power supply decided it had enough so we bought this one. It works just fine. The cords and plugs are a little different and had me concerned but so far so good. The original Xbox cord is three pronged and this one is only two. I have tried our old cord and the new cord and they both seem to work. The light still shows red when the Xbox is off, but it will turn green once it is turned on. It has not heated up like our old one did so it has stayed cool. Make sure you order the right power supply for your Xbox. I didn't know we had a slim model and I'm glad there was a picture of the connector cord otherwise we would have ordered the wrong one. Thanks!
