I searched for 7 string Lyre handbook, this book is for a 6 string...however it does give a few good lessons, just make sure that you tune your 7 string the way you want (and ignore this 6 string setup).

Deceptive book

Book was more for construction and less for how to play it after it was made Not worth the price unless you use it as a guide to construction

The songs are a good start for beginners. Looking forward to more music books for the Lyre/Harp.

Not bad. A little short and very basic but informative.

This booklet contains only very basic building instructions. The part about stringing the lyre isn't clear either. it mentions stringing from right to left but does not say whether it means as you're looking at it or from the right side as you are holding it. The playing directions and songs aren't great either. Do an online search for "Anglo Saxon Lyre" and you will find much better plans and instructions (free and paid). This booklet was of no use at all.

Not the best. Doesn't really have great information. Not worth the price.

it is clear on its description but I was really looking for more on playing the lyre than building one

The book I received looks like it has been printed and guillotined by a distracted primary school teacher. The print is not centred and just about remains on the page without sentences/music being sliced. Cheap looking, which is a shame.

Two purchased one for my best mate and one for me!!Very interesting and pretty clear to deal with our lyres!!

Useful detail about how to construct and then play the Anglo Saxon Lyre either by plucking or using simple chords.

Useless not for the lyre harp i bought.
