SamsoniteGlobal Travel Accessories foldable suitcase, L/M, blue (Midnight Blue)

I love this luggage brand - it delivers on every single level. Having invested in a set of red ones about 8 years ago and loved (and used) them so much we decided to buy some more as the reds were starting to look a little battered (but are still perfectly usable). We bought 3 sizes, large, medium and small (all for the hold)They are expensive but I really believe are worth the money - I used to regularly HAVE to replace suitcases as they fell apart or just started to look SO bad but not with these cases. My favourite features1a) They are SUPER lightweight - you can pick all off them up (when empty!) with a single finger. This means (at least!!) 2 - 3KG extra luggage allowance - which as an over packer is important...1b) Another totally brilliant feature is, when and if a wheel comes off (which thanks to baggage handling they will occasionally do!), Unlike most other suitcases which are they consigned to scrap, Samsonite will send you a replacement wheel that is really pretty easy to replace yourself. We travel a lot so probably used this at least 4 times! which saved us so much money in the long run2) they are super easy to wheel around - including with all 4 wheels flat on the ground - they just glide along spinning and turning as required. They are so easy to use you can walk pulling or pushing 2 large suitcases along all on your own3) They are well made - they've got great water proof zips that to date have never broken - no matter how much action they've seen (they've seen a lot!), the inside is sensible ad easy to pack in, the zippered pocket that covers one side is very useful as is the small zippered pocket inside.All in all they are just a very good quality brand that will save you money in the long run. They are also good looking and come inn nice colours :)

It is such a dissappointment to buy such an expensive product and to get ripped on the first usage. It was supposed to be strong, duable and protect the luggage!! There are cheaper covers on the market that waould do a better job.

Not very sturdy - comes off easily. The velcro could’ve been stronger or stitched across to match where it sticks!

Pros:1) This cover comes straight from manufacturer2) Material is durable - does not stretch like most other covers. But you do not really need this feature. All stretching covers just wear out faster, cannot be washed in hot water, reveal holes and damages after a single flight.3) Fits exactly almost any hard shell Samsonite of the indicated size (Samsonite Aeris L, for example)4) You may encounter all sorts of luggage handles in sudden places, this cover has regular cut outs, for side handles, do not expect "all size-all models-funky fitting"Cons: no considerable problems.Summary: bought this cover after buying a lot of brand-less replacements all over the world and do not regret. Spare your wallet. No reason to buy new cover after every flight.

Hi I bought a samsonite suitcase last year. I used it once, when I got back the suitcase had some slight scratches on it. So when I seen this product I thought great, I will purchase one. So I bought one in April this year, went on holiday in May and was so annoyed to see the state of the cover when I got back home. Samsonite I would like your views on this, looking forward to hear from you thanks.
