DEE ZEEDZTBSHOCK1 Tool Box Replacement Shock

Excellent quality, I just had 1 shock that leaked gas/oil out, thought about buying 2 but I just replaced the1, glad I did. The new pair might have been to much for the 15 old mounting attachments of TB.I bought a pair of cheaper quality shocks first for about the price of just 1 Dee Zee shock, I had to return them as they wouldn't even hold lid up.These are good.

This is one of the 1st things I added to our 2019 F150. It makes the tailgate easy enough for our kids to open. It is so nice to not have it just drop when you open it. The installation was easy and it works great. DeeZee makes great products that make trucks better.

This was a hubby thing. He said it was okay as far as fitting. He thinks it opens a little slow. I think he is just impatient, LOL. Give it a little nudge and it does what it is supposed to do.

Perfect fit for Dee Zee Gold toolbox (small pickup size) works fantastically. It’s nice when the lid pops all the way up like it should. Installs in seconds! Just pop it on, no tools required.

No problem to swap out

Well made. Didn’t use it because it was wrong size. My fault.

Item was broke on both ends when delivered. Lift support would not stay on the ball studs due to this damage.

Powerful. I need to weatherstrip my toolbox because it pushes the lid up against the lock allowing snow to blow in the small space

Not effective. They say that it holds 80lbs but it doesn't. Can't even hold my 60lbs lid open without slamming shut and I installed two of them. Also never came with ball studs necessary for installation.

Fit perfectly. HOLDS the lid open. Doesn't lift. But that's fine. See how long they last
