I have bought a couple different bowls that look identical to this, but were really crappy. The usual issues with this type of bowl are a black insert ring with peeling paint, or the ring not sitting horizontally level so that the bowl is tipped forward or back, or even making the bowl hit the side of the cage and not fully sit in the ring. These particular bowls do not have these issue. No black paint to peel, and the cage attachment is straight and works the way it should. I received two bowls, and both are perfect. The only issue I am having is that the wing nut seems like it is going to easily become loose when the bowl is bumped or my rats stand on it. I might to add some rubber between various pieces to grip better.

I use these in my maccaw and cocatoo cages. They are easy to remove to refill and clean, but the birds don't try to dump them! They can't damage them like they did with the plastic ones I had before!

This was my first time buying metal bird bowls and I can’t say I’m disappointed. I’ve seen a lot of reviews for metal bird bowls where people complain about the bowl tilting when attached to the cage. I haven’t had that problem and never had to retighten the screws. They’re very easy to clean and super super easy to take out of the cage. No unscrewing cause only the holder is attached to the cage. They’ve served me much better than the plastic bowls I used to have!!

I have a new cat. These dishes work great for Amazon's Choice in the pet condo they have advertised. I bought a set of two. There are 2 different sized bowls per purchase. So I was able to put the smaller ones in the Amazon pet condo, while the larger bowls went into the floor to ceiling cage in a different room.I notice that the cats tip the larger dishes at an angle and I tighten the nuts maybe weekly.Other than that they wash up really good.

Love this because it's sturdy.

We got our budgies a few weeks ago and they had plastic food containers which I didn't like. We are very happy with our purchase! Easy to attach to the cage bars and support the weight of out budgies.
