I've always had horrible issues with dandruff and itchy scalp. I've tried so many products and nothing really helped until I found this shampoo and conditioner. I've been using it for almost a year now and my scalp feels so much better and I'm not embarrassed by dandruff flakes anymore.I love the way it smells. Leaves my scalp feeling good and my hair is soft and shiny. I HIGHLY recommend!

Y’all, I have been using this shampoo set for almost a year now, and it’s been nothing but amazing. To preface, I have fine strands but medium hair density, low porosity, wavy 2a/2b, frizz and build-up prone hair. Prior to getting this shampoo, I had been experiencing some hair loss and I noticed my hair density had changed quite drastically. I certainly wasn’t “bald”, but it was the “thinnest” it had ever been, especially at the temples/hair line. It started with a horrible reaction to the hair products I had been using for years prior (ahem, OGX lawsuit…), which snowballed into developing folliculitis, terrible scalp buildup, FIRST EVER flare of seborrheic dermatitis at the nape of my neck/scalp, and just overall awful hair. From that moment onward, I had tried over a dozen different shampoos and conditioners, specifically ones that were both sulphate (not including a clarifying shampoo that I definitely needed to invest in lol) and silicone free. (*I’m not saying that anyone should demonize these ingredients, but for my fine hair type, I just find that silicone-free is better for me*). Anyways, after months of being unhappy with every different product I tried, I came upon these.Shampoo Notable qualities:- Peppermint for hair growth stimulation, SD soothing properties, as well as overall pleasant aroma and tingly experience-Rosemary oil for definite hair growth stimulation- Tea Tree oil for exceptional SD treatment- Great combination of surfactants like cocomidopropyl betaine and— my favorite— C14-16 olefin sulfonate, as well as many others.-moisturizing ingredients too, such as argon oil, a few polyquaterniums, and moreI always do scalp oil treatments the night before a wash, and therefore double cleanse my hair. My hair is always so clean and soft after shampooing, never any residue. It’s also not overly stripped, but still perfectly cleansed and voluminous. Literally my IDEAL shampoo in every way. It’s also extremely concentrated, I’ve had the same bottle for several months and it’s not even to the halfway mark yet. AND I always shampoo twice.Conditioner:Now, this is where this set let’s me down a bit. Do not get me wrong, this is a very nice, creamy, medium-richness conditioner. Not too runny to the point that I’m using half the bottle just to feel like I’m getting somewhere (although it is still thinner than how I usually prefer my conditioners to be— but that’s preference). But this is NOT a bad conditioner!!!! The problem is, there are over 5 different proteins in the entire ingredients list, and barely one or two conditioning ingredients. And for my frizz-prone, low porosity and therefore very protein sensitive hair, that’s a l o t. Someone who’d benefit more from it is a person with color-treated, or very damaged hair.Nonetheless, let it be clear that I’d still pay for BOTH if it meant I could repurchase the shampoo again. That’s how much I adore it.As for my scalp issues and hair loss, I never want to give a singular product credit for something that is governed by many different factors. A mixture of devoting time and effort to scalp and overall health— (no more scalding hot showers, not putting my hair in super tight hairstyles anymore, UV protection as well as no more heat tools, not letting my hair get too oily/built up, scalp oil treatments + massaging before washing, using less irritating products on the skin, clarifying frequently enough, etc)— AND using this shampoo is what I believe truly helped me recover. I have zero desire to ever use anything else again :)

I think I really like it the shampoo and conditioner both, but if you use too much it does lather and I don't like that. I use one pump. I'm a Caucasian woman with fine mid-length hair. The conditioner is so so or maybe I'm just spoiled using this great hair mask that looks and feels like a conditioner that I use sometimes in the shower instead. It doesn't work as well as that in my opinion but if I didn't use that I don't know it might be all right. Honestly I'm not trying to say a crappy product is okay it might actually be good I just use amazing new conditioning hair mask instead.

I waited for the weekend to try these given the reviews. After using them, it's not as terrible as they make it out, but I can easily say they are not using the same formula. The consistency is different and I don't smell any essential oils. The ingredient lists didn't change and it still makes your hair soft. Though I feel like something is different that I can't quite place.The current smell is rather neutral, neither bad nor great. The smell reminds me of suntan lotion or a fragrance free hand lotion. I grew up with a mother who's allergic to most fragrances so everything we had didn't have added scent. So I can easily say that nothing with any strong scent was added to these products. The big issue here is that means there was no essential oil added!Less important issue, the cap on one of them broke before it got to me. The lid's hinge broke and the little bit of plastic that the lid uses to stopper the hole broke off in the hole, so now it's a screw cap. I have other caps, I'll probably see if one of them work. So yeah, caps are super cheap.Conclusion: I don't plan to return them because it works well enough, but I won't be ordering again. I get neither the nice scent nor the end result that made this shampoo stand well above others.I might consider returning if they advertise that they've fixed whatever issue is causing this or announce they're going back to the old formula. This shampoo and conditioner is a very gentle, good smelling way to clean hair. I have mild eczema on the scalp and this shampoo and conditioner has helped tame the itch and that means everything!

Both products worked very well on my head. The shampoo produced enough leather to clean my hair thoroughly and rinse away completely. The conditioner leaves my hair soft and shiny If the instructions are followed. Let the conditioner sit on your head for 2 minutes before you rinse. The conditioner rinses away completely.

5 stars, and it came damaged. That’s how great it is. My scalp is hydrated and I have seriously gotten several compliments on my hair just for switching to this brand. 10/10. Sucks the pumps are wonky and didn’t work but I just transferred to a different bottle. Easy fix.

Tea Tree oil aroma is very subjective. This shampoo and conditioner have very light aroma, which I wish was stronger. And I need to pump the shampoo 4 times to get any sudsing or foaming in my pretty thick hair which like either a lot of shampoo is needed or there not a lot of sudsing ingredient. These products were the lowest cost per ounce of all tea tree shampoo/ conditioner products so that could be why. You may like the qualities that I don't like. Again it's subjective. Have a great day.
