I have one of those fancy (read expensive) wireless blood glucose monitoring systems that I inadvertently left at my 2nd home when I returned to my primary residence. Here I sat with no way to monitor my blood sugar. I found the Care Sense system on Amazon for about $12 and ordered it. I was very pleased to find that it is just as accurate as the other one I have. It comes in a handy pouch with everything I need for checking my blood sugar including trial packets of lancets and strips. I ordered a 50 packet of strips and was surprised that they were only $10.15, which is a fraction of what I pay for the strips I use with the other system I have. Buy this right now for your primary testing kit or for a backup.

Being a Type 2 for over 20 years, I've tried several glucometer kits from high-end to the basic doctor office give-away. They mostly all do what they are supposed to but now with co-pays being very high (like$40!!) and test strips priced ridiculously out of control ($108 for 50-WTF!), I did not want to spend that kind of money. After the positive reviews on the CareSens N Blood Glucose Monitoring System, I made the purchase. So, where has this little gem been all my life??! BEST testing kit I've ever tried!! I most definitely will be subscribing my test strip orders. I am most pleased!!

I had googled glucose meter for managing my family’s health and I have learned CareSens brands are the only glucose meter brand used in entire New Zealand for several years as well as it is recommended as the preferred glucose meter by NHS in UK. So, I can assume that CareSens N glucose meter is very accurate and qualified product in the worldwide for the last decade. Additionally, the strip price is reasonable. Great price and is super easy to use. So, I believe that CareSens N will be very helpful for my family.

READ THIS REVIEW. I have used a lot of other glucose brands out there from big brands to small brands. After using everything else, I came to a decision that this brand is the best in terms of accuracy and affordability. To be honest, accuracy seems like the same for every brand. But affordability now plays a big role. If you are looking for affordable meter and strips that has same accuracy and precision, definitely use this one.

Order extra strips and lancets if your going to buy this. It runs out quickly. Relatively easy to use, but the poke pressure is a trial an error deal, which means you may need to adjust the setting and poke yourself again if it wasn't enough.

quick and easy. price was good for me to try this new set as a starter. I will keep buying the strips. I thought it was a worthwhile try that could be much more affordable in a long run.

Some small problems with the device that applies the needle but otherwise a good product that is not so expensive, strips capture blood sample extremely well.
