cute but...
I don't understand the marker situation. For 3 normal sized kites they only sent one TINY set of markers. By tiny, I mean the kind that are no longer than your finger, and thinner than your pinky. I decided to purchase fabric markers from Hobby Lobby which worked perfect. These were a fun little activity for my kid's sleep over, even if she decorated hers with nothing but the "fart". We took them out the next day and flew them for about 4 hours- they held up great! We'll be able to fly them again. This is cute and different for the kids and I'd recommend them for sure.

Kids loved them
These were a cute project for my preschool kids and a few older after schoolers. Super Easy but a little messy from the markers. Had to use rubbing alcohol to get it off there hands. Soap and water didn’t touch it. If I had a complaint it might be That they only come with 1 small package of markers and they are approx 3” in size. But we rotated them and it was fine for a one time project.

My grandkids and I colored these kits then flew them. The problem is there was little wind..

End of year gift
My students enjoyed drawing on these kites and were surprised they were able to keep them. Nice end of year gift.

Very fun for a short project, do not expect these to last long.
I loved these color in kites but my 4yo crashed them withing minutes of use. While some held up, others had the little bar bend beyond repair and tearing in the thin plastic that makes up the kite. Fun, but I only recommend if you are looking for a quick one time project.

Disappointed
I ordered this for my grandson's to do on Christmas. I have 5, ages 4 -11 and thought this would be perfect. Though the kits are cute, and more than likely will not last a day or two. What upset me the most was that for 6 kits, they send you only one very tiny set of markers, approximately 1 to 1 1/4 inch long. A crayon is much bigger than these markers. I've had to go out and purchase each of them a set of markers. There is absolutely no way the marker set that you get with this kit will even finish one kit, let alone 6. Very disappointed and will not purchase again.

Most of the fun was coloring them.The kites are ornamental more than performers but still fun for the kids.
