Very thin. Adheres poorly. Difficult to cut/manipulate because of lack of weight.
Have done a few of these window films. It takes a patient hand to put them on and smooth everything out, but having done both restaurant window clings and window tint in my younger days, the logic is identical. With proper tools, it's very DIY achievable. This film was not good. Couldn't get it to adhere and stay adhered. It stretched while smooothing, taking it out of square. Heat didn't help adhere. Continues to peel at corners. Was very difficult to lay out and cut evenly because it's so thin. I'd find something nicer.

Privacy solution that still lets in light
This WochiTV Privacy Window Film, Frosted Pure, is a privacy solution that still lets in light. This film has no adhesive on the back so you can remove it without it leaving behind any residue. It's simple to install, too. Helpful tools for a great install are razor blade, scissors, spray bottle filled with water, and a squeegee. Just clean the glass you want to install it on very well. Then measure and cut the window film a bit larger than your measurement. Spray the window with clean water (you want it quite wet) and remove the backing from the window film and place it on the window. Then use your squeegee to work all of the air bubbles out and create a crease along the edges. Finally, use the razor blade or utility knife to trim it around the edges. This is a frosted look film so you won't be able to see out of it (and others won't be able to see in.) It does block a little of the light but not much so you retain the natural light. Great for homes that are kind of dark so you can still have privacy without losing the sunlight. Also great for renters or for when you want to sell your home because it is easily removed.

Let The Light In: A WochiTV Matte White Frosted Privacy Window Film 35.4” x 8.2’ Roll Review
The WochiTV matte white frosted privacy window film 35.4” x 8.2’ roll requires a tape measure , utility knife , scraper , spray bottle and some towels. To install, measure the window, cut a piece to size adding 20mm to the measurements, clean the window, separate the transparent backing from the film (the most challenging step), spray water on the window, place the film smooth side against the glass, use the scraper to position and push out air bubbles, then use the scraper to press against the edges as a guide for cutting the film to the exact size needed. Finally, wipe up any excess water. The process is involved and the supplied instructions a little confusing. However, I was able to get the film installed with patience and a reasonable amount of time.I installed this film on two original clear bathroom windows on a 1950s house. The windows are high up, so it’s not likely anyone could see anything personal from the exterior. Even so, I prefer to have privacy while still letting light in. The film accomplishes this task well.If you’re looking for some privacy while letting light in, the WochiTV matte white frosted privacy window film may be the solution you are searching for. This film is simple enough for a DIYer to install, and it gets the job done.PROS:Blocks UV raysAdds privacyLets light inCONS:Directions a bit confusingTransparent backing challenging to remove
