A Chesapeake Shores Collection Volume 1 (A Chesapeake Shores Novel) Kindle Edition

I decided to get this because I was watching the series on TV. There are quite a few differences between the show and the written word. Most of the main characters are the same, but their story line is very different. Of course a book always has far more detail then a show. I wish the show had stayed true to the book. The book is excellent, and the characters develop nicely.

I have just started the set but I watch the television show. Love it. I think the book is better than the tv show.

I'm so glad I bought the set so I could go directly from one story to the next. All had great character development and made me care about the family. I loved seeing the family overcome problems and still love and stand up for each other.

Not exactly how Hallmark portrays the stories, but still a great read. I would recommend this for anyone wanting a romantic series.

I must admit I came to the books after seeing the series on Netflix, it was heartwarming and I needed more. While several details were changed on the show, the emotional tugs were just the same. It was a much needed escape from the perils of today that I thoroughly enjoyed.

I liked the family constellation of characters. I didn't like that the mother who left the family wasn't explain ed why she left her children.

I did like the whole set of 4 books. Now I probably have to get the next bolt in the series.

Really enjoyed reading this collection. Was nice to go from one book to the next. Hopefully the next collection will be the same.

A Chesapeake Shores Collection is very nice to read because you get to know the characters from different angles and you don't have to go looking for the other books.The intertwining of the various stories makes these books extremely nice to read.

I have been watching the TV series and I love it. I found the books for my kindle and I knew that I would love the books too. When I read the books, u can see the characters from the show and it is interesting to see their faces as I read . I'm looking forward to reading the rest of them.

Great series. Very well written. I’m immediately drawn into the characters even when they are annoying!
