Atlantic Ultra Lite Softsides 25" Expandable Spinner, lulu Green, Checked Medium

Loved the idea of finally having a set of beautiful luggage. Until I checked in to Jetblue at the airport. Carryon must be maximum of 22”, including handles and wheels. This Atlantic piece is 23.5”. I had to stand at the curb and stuff important things into checked bag and my medical equipment into my large purse (thank goodness I brought the biggest I had). Very inconvenient, had to send some shoes and clothes back home in the not- carryon with my daughter. Really upset me as I really need an overhead carryon for meds and medical devices.I did not know 5ere was a 30day time limit to return things to Amazon. They are now charging me an $11 restocking fee!

Sturdy and durable. Lovely colors and the spinners work great. It is my second Atlantic carry on and it is actually nicer than the first. I just hope I can get it through the ridiculous long haul international airlines strict size requirements. It is actually about a inch taller including the wheels and top handle, but it is so light weight. I was able to easily organize a weeks worth of clothing and sundries in it. I will update down the road.UPDATE: Just took it to Italy for three weeks from Mexico City. Planes, trains, cobblestone streets, rough taxi drivers. stairs galore, and rain. Moves like a dream, actually better than my older Atlantis carry on, which my husband used on this trip, and it is still in great condition. Strict carry on, long haul, budget airline accepted, plus British Airways, and Alitalia. It was weighed, but the size was always accepted. Just be sure to carry a scale in your personal item, and know each airlines weight restrictions. Underpack so you have room and weight to bring home goodies.

Really love the colors of this luggage. It seems like it’s well made too. I spent a lot of time looking at reviews for luggage and in this price range there will always be a few reviews with mishaps. Overall though people are pleased with this set. I chose not to do the hard side kind because it seems like even in the styles that cost twice as much there is the possibility of dents, scratches etc. I also read a review from a baggage handler who said the soft side kind actually hold up better. I’ll come back after my trip and re-review

I am in love with my new suitcase (in the Lulu Green print). It is so, so beautiful. It is hands down the most beautiful piece of luggage I've ever owned. It is also very light, easy to roll, and seems roomy for its overall size.It is important to note, however, that it is a bit big for international travel. When I flew from Canada to the US, they made me stick it in the bag measurer, and I got it in but the wheels stuck out, and they wanted to make me gate-check it, and it was only because I nearly burst into tears that they relented and let me take it on the plane.

This is a perfect carry-on bag for the person who travels occasionally. Both of my flights were full so they had to check this bag, but it will fit fine in the overhead bins if given the chance. I didn't stuff my carry-on so I can't describe the "stretch" but there is an expandable portion that unzips. It has a nice large mesh zip portion on the backside of the zip front which is nice for the clear ziplock bag in which all your toiletries go - easy to get to and put away for TSA. The adjustable handle is long enough for me - I'm 5'9" and this is the first rolling carry-on that I've used where the handle is long enough so I don't have to hunch over. I love the colors of this bag, too. I'm extremely happy with this carry-on. I recommend it if you're in need of an inexpensive, yet well-built carry-on.

I was attracted to this because it was so pretty and it was the right size and price. I just traveled to the U.K. with it. The First and major problem right now are the wheels. They will not go in a straight line which makes it very difficult to go from point A to point B. Next, I don’t trust the zipper. There are places in it that look crooked. I’m going to have to buy straps to wrap around it before I head home. The suitcase only expands on one end. That little extra space would have been useful. Also and lastly, a little hand hold on the bottom would have made lifting so much easier. I should have bought the Samsonite (same price) like the one I got my husband. Practical, not pretty.

Love the print. I chose the lulu green. It is as pictured and will definitely stand out on the luggage carousels. Very roomy, nice straps with a strong buckle instead of the light elastic straps some luggage in this price range has. Expandable feature, enough pockets. Haven’t traveled yet but, it seems like it will stand up. If you read enough luggage reviews there is always the mishap with luggage handling.... just have to pray it’s not mine when I go to the Bahamas later this year. Will submit again after the trip

I loved the light weight and the bag and the rolling capability. I packed for a week but it really isn’t large enough for everything so i used a carry on too. I checked it through because it’s really too large to be overhead though I see folks bringing larger suitcases aboard.
