I love this case and it is very nice. This case suits my needs perfectly and is a perfect fit. It is waterproof up to about 40 minutes due to the speaker place, which is very resistant but not water proof (I can see why they did this seeing as the volume needs to come out somewhere, and plastic doesn't let sound out very well). I tested this out by putting some paper towel in side and submerging it for about 40 minutes, and even then the tip of paper towel that was closest to the speaker spot got only a little damp everywhere else was perfectly dry, which is perfect because I bought this case just in case and did not expect it to be as good as it is( no offense to the manufacturer). When I dunked it in for about 10 minutes, it was perfectly dry and I was done with testing it out and ready to use it.The only problem was that within about 15 hours of using this case ( I had gotten it at about 8:00 that evening and tested the case out then put it on my ipod. I did not use it that day but took it to school the following day and in 5th hour noticed the problem) the rubber home button cover had ripped half off. I had not played with the cover or tried to rip it off. It had simply just peeled off on its own accord. That is the only problem I have had with the case ( I lost the rubber band that was on the aux cord that came with the case, but that was my own fault), and it is not a huge problem, but I still am a little worried about the case because of the problem.

Overall this isn't a bad case. There are a few things that we didn't like about it but without spending a mint on a Lifeproof case this is probably we good as its going to get. The first issue we had was the screen cover. It was thicker than most covers that we have used and seemed to decrease the sensitivity of the screen. The second problem, and more of an annoyance than anything, was the plugs for the ports were easy to lose, they fell out easily and then your case is no longer waterproof. Which brings us to the third issue, the speaker cover isn't as waterproof as we would like it to be. It would probably be fine if the ipod was splashed or even a quick drop and grab into the water but when we leak tested it - submerged in a bowl of water with a paper towel in it for 20 minutes - the speaker cover collected some water that we allowed to dry before putting the ipod into it. So all to say it would probably protect your device fine under normal circumstances but trusting it to that one accident would be questionable.

BEST CASE EVER!!My daughter dropped her iPod in the snow in a snow storm and didn't know it. It snowed 8 inches and blowed and drifted. She realized she lost it the next morning, we dug in the snow, but couldn't find it. Three days later after asking everyone I could think of if they'd seen it someone suggested looking with a metal detector. Thinking there was no way we'd find it, we tried the metal detector and found it!! We unburied it and warmed it up, took it out of the case and it was completely DRY! We charged it and it worked perfectly! If it hadn't been in this case, it would have been ruined!

I only just received this yesterday, but it appears to be definitely worth the price. I could have chosen a $50 LifeProof or OtterBox case that I know for a fact would protect my iPod Touch 6th Gen no matter what, or gotten this $15 case and know that though it may not last through every situation or for a long time, it still does the job of protecting my iPod, including its audio and charging ports, speaker, and screen. Speaker still works perfectly, screen protector fits decent, not perfect, but the touch sensor still works, and the charging cord still fits even with the case on. However it does come with an audio cable adapter since some headphones or earphones may not quite fit with the case on. I absolutely love the kickstand it comes with, but it appears cheap and fragile so obviously be a little more careful with it.

I lived with this for a while before posting. Before this, I had an Otter Defender that worked great. It just got too many scratches and the part that concealed the camera came off so it was time to switch up. I saw this on the cheep that claimed it was waterproof and all that.Pros: It does seem to be waterproof. Tested it empty and sure enough.Cons: The screen protector doesn't seem to stick to the screen as well, making you mash down more on the screen. This is okay, but not desirable. Probably fatal for gamers. But just mildly annoying to people googling stuff.Conclusion: I think it's a great second case to have in case you need something cheep that is waterproof for a rainy day or day at the beach. I'm not recommending it as the main case though, because of the screen protector issue.

This case fit the iPod (5th Generation), but it was a little difficult to snap together - meaning if you didn’t hold the opposite side of the case while snapping together the side you were working on, the opposite side popped open. I really like that there is a built in screen protector and it didn’t hinder the “touch” capabilities whatsoever. The case isn’t bulky, although it does give the iPod a more secure/thicker feel rather than having no case/protection on it. I have yet to drop this case or get it wet (which I don’t intend to drop or get it wet, but am wondering how it will hold up) but so far it seems to fully protect the iPod, as it should!

This case is awesome. But watch out for the shipping. I bought this because it was a prime item (I only buy prime items). However when I got the confirmation email, the expected delivery was a month away. Shocked, I contacted the seller and they emailed me and said too bad. It took almost 3 weeks. Be sure to check your shipping details in your conformation email right away.Other than that, this case is wonderful. It has a kickstand on the back and is great quality. All openings are sealed with a quality rubber stopper. It even includes a headphone adapter that keeps your iPod waterproof, even when you remove the rubber stopper to plug in your headphones.
