I have two smaller dogs around 14 years old that constantly growl at each other. This distracts one of them and breaks up the fight. The other dog? She is either going deaf or has very selective hearing. She was always stubborn, so I can't say for certain if she hears it or not. It definitely works to get the first dog's attention, so it is useful. It feels cheap, but it wasn't all that expensive.

I own no less than ten or so and have them stashed in places (ie, around doors to the outsdie, outside on the patio, in the garage where my dogs sometimes meet and greet. I've actually lost a couple when I demonstrate how great they work... I've given them as gifts... one to a lady scared to death of dogs. She put it in her purse and has actually used it to keep dogs away from her. These work. Doesn't matter if they're cheap, the other more expensive ones have done no better. In fact, the other two I bought that were double the price didn't do any better and ended up going bad rather quickly. These less expensive ones do fine and the range is sometimes phenomenal. I have one that I can use on the next door neighbor's dog. He barks at wildlife at night and I hit him from the back door. That's a really good distance. Now he hears me opening the door and shuts up. He hardly ever barks now unless there's a person walking outside late at night. (I give him a pass on that situation). I can at least go over 30 feet with all of them and all the yellow ones have lasted. I have some that are over three years old. Not one has gone bad yet. So, if you jog... you really need one of these in your pocket. Dogs have all reacted immediately. Don't hold the button down. Push once for a second and stop, then do it again if the dog continues. I use mine to keep my dogs from barking and jumping on guests at the doors. They see me pick up the zapper and they stop without me even having to press the button. My little dog will stop but seems to be the least affected. He may be deaf in one ear. We've been suspicious. Great for teaching your dog not to jump up on you too. I can now hold up my phone as I'm coming in the door and they think I have a zapper in my hand and greet me with all fours on the floors!

My dog responds well to the good behavior button, but isn't affected much by the bad behavior button.

But they constantly need the collar on. And what if the first time you don’t put on, maybe off to recharge. There is no way to get control when needed. With Olefly anti-bark handheld training wand( lack of another word) there is no need for collars. And multiple dogs can be controlled at the same time. First time I used, my dogs which normallly pull me when we go out to their “spot” walked right by myside. Squirrels they usually charge after or bark out, they didn’t. Though they stared at them, they didn’t make a sound. So far so good. Olefly. One tool, multi use, = a more enyoyable relaxing time outside with your 4-legged buddies.Update: I have friend who my puppies Aleatz jumped in scratched. This doohickey really helped. I gave him the gizmo and told him press the button, having preset to middle mode and kept puppies from jumping and unintentional scratching. This device at 5.99 at time of purchase, wow! Kept them from jumping; sat in front of him waited as he controlled this gadget. This by far exceeds the expectations of what this states it does. Out performs any shock-collar system. Buy this while still available. Enclosed is a demo after having this awhile . Dogs have gotten used to it, but still obey to a degree. They don’t jump when friends come over, or obey to a simple no. With the two light moods a high pitched whistle can be heard when close to one’s ear. I don’t know what dog hears. At night, the flashing light catches their attention. A simple 9 volt device, and dog doesn’t need to wear a special collar. Having two dogs both can be corrected/controlled at same time. It minimalizes barking, but if their are too frantic, they aren’t paying attention to hear a whistle. Some kind of reward, after device activation may stave off misbehavior quicker.

I bought this handheld dog trainer device to stop my two dogs from barking while we are camping. Every time someone walks or rides bikes past our campsite my dogs immediately start barking. It's even worse when others are walking their dog(s) and go past our site. The first time I used the device, both dogs were excessively barking, I said "no bark" and pressed the button on the device. My female dog immediately stopped barking and ran scared, straight to the RV door. It was very apparent she heard the sound emitted from the device and she definitely did not like it. However it didn't have any affect on my Male dog. Next time I used the device, when I told them "no bark" before I touched the device, the female came running to me and jumped into my lap. But again, the Male dog kept on barking. I even tried set the device on the higher intensity, when only the Male was outside barking and he continued to bark. It's clear after using the device several times, while it worked to stop my female, it had ne affect on my Male dog. There's no guarantee it will work on all dogs as seen with my two. So, you won't know until until you try it. Definitely worth my time and money ($7.00).

When it works it works great but we’ve gotten to the point we can cover the battery or it glitches and won’t work. Sometimes even with the battery exposed and pulled out it only works half the time. When it works though it serves its purpose and does what it should. I may have just gotten a bad one but we haven’t had it very long for it to already not work all the time.

Voilà un achat fait il y a quelques jours et reçu très rapidement pour le tester illico presto sur le chien du voisin qui gueule pour une mouche passante .Je ne suis pas un client payé par amazone pour donner un avis positif. Je suis un réel client .Ça marche bien... mais uniquement si vous restez appuyez sur le bouton adéquate .N’ayant rien contre les animaux, même au contraire, mais un moment cela devient pesant d’entendre constamment les aboiements.C’est donc même surprenant de voir le chien s’arrêter d’aboyer aussitôt ce petit objet en fonction. Par contre je ne peux pas dire si cela marche sur toutes les races de chemin. Je pense que la fréquence doit être la même ,même,s’il paraît que certains chiens sont capables de ne pas entendre la même onde . Un test a faire . Mettez à côté de votre oreilles et appuyez ,. Vous verrez que cela est excrément. Désagréable . Donc ne pas abuser sur nos amis les chiens .,juste leur faire rappeler par de petites touches .Satisfait donc de cet achat .

J'ai beaucoup hésité en lisant certains commentaires. Et comme le produit est très peu cher, je perdais pas grand chose à l'essayer. J'ai acheté, bien entendu il faut aussi acheter la pile de 9volts. Le mode d'emploi est en anglais mais ne sert pas à grand chose. C'est pas non plus très beau et un peu encombrant ! Mais sur mon malinois c'est diabolique, çà marche à chaque fois, qu'il soit dans le fond du jardin à courir après les voitures le long de la haie, ou dans les promenades ! Magique !Je n'ai pas encore essayé lorsqu'il court après le chevreuil, mais hier il devait y en avoir un pas très loin et mon chien museau en l'air s'apprêtait à bondir, stoppé direct. Je ne lui ai pas montré que j'avais en main un instrument de "torture" , il ignore d'où çà vient. Il réagit comme si il avait été "touché" par une décharge ! c'est bizarre.En conclusion : c'est efficace mais testé uniquement sur mon malinois, ce qui est un exploit.

Mon coker un agressif avec un nouveau chat adopté à la SPA aboie pour lui indiquer que c'est lui le plus ancien de la fraterie.. Ce qui m'agace prodigieusement ...J'avais déjà acheté sur un autre site ce produit qui avait fonctionné 1 fois ...ensuite le bouton déclencheur des ultrasons avait sauté le rendant inutilisable....Là utilisé 5 fois il fonctionne très bien rien qu'en le voyant s'arrête et vient quémander pour sa bonne conduite une p'tiote croquette que je lui donne avec un immense Plaisir la plénitude est préférable aux décibels plus qu'injustifiées et pénibles ;-) Anne-Laure & Paco

Bonjour, j'ai commandé ce produit pour1) que chien de ma voisine n'aboit plus et2) lorsque que vais marcher ayant été mordu je crains un peu les chiens Après tentative de fonctionnement cet appareil hormis les flaschs et la lumière ne fonctionne pas comme il est dit le chien de ma soeur est venu mème jouer avec l'appareil. Je pense et je suis certains que cet appareil ne fonctionne pas Cordialement jean-claude
